It took fifteen minutes for Taeyong to arrive by the bank. As he got got down and closed the car door, his gaze fixated unto the the building before him. It was an outspread cube structure of glittering white concrete, soaring up to 33 meters in the air. There were vases of bushes that decorated the sides of the entrance and a wide window that stretched from the door all the way to the end point of the building, although you cannot see the inside as the white blinds overlayed the transparent glass.

The sky was already warming up to sunlight as it had a beautiful mixture of orange and baby blue, the clouds were more evident.

He strolled over to the entrance, taking the stairs just before the door and fumbled for his keys. When he did, he opened the bank and entered, greeted by the chilly atmosphere.

The first one Taeyong focused on just infront of him was a counter stretched from side to side, it was an extended counter with atleast five rooms that were seperated, there was a glass that will keep both the employee and the customer a good distinct distance between them. Taeyong happened to have his own office just on his right. This cube room enclosed with a glass so pretty much the customers can see him work.

When he went over to his desk, he had set down his belongings and plopped himself down his swivel chair. He waited for the others to arrive.

. . .

It has been an hour since he waited and by now all of his employees had arrived and started filling the empty cubicles of the counters. There were small exchanges of words between them such as morning greeting and those 'how are you?'. Small chats but it was enough for the day.

The guards eventually arrived and positioned themselves by the entrance. With their white tops and black pants police attire enclosing their bodies, they stood high and tall.

The clock striked seven and customers started flooding in. Occupying the provided rectangular seats that were in rows. Depositing, exchanges. Customers of different genders, personalities and clothes come and go. Taeyong was strolling around the place, checking the employees if they're doing their jobs right, guide them if needed, adhering to the customer's needs.

Throughout the day was normal. The whole routine repeated for the rest of the hour. Making the depositors money into a loan with the amount of loans far greater than the amount of interests used to pay the customers with serving accounts, counting the savings, etc.

Taeyong by now was dealing with calls from customers far away. Greeting them and tending to their everyday needs, even dealing with investors for the bank.

It was nearing to lunch time when a customer entered the place. It was someone Taeyong's attention fixated onto. It was a pudgy man in his early 30s, with his attire only in merely jogging pants and a t-shirt strolling over to one of the counters. "Yah, I know I said I can pay by Tuesday, but can't we move it next week? I need to borrow a hundred." The man spoke, hands pressed unto the edges of the quartz counter. The female dressed in a blue blazer and a pencil skirt looked up, eyeing the man. "Sir, you have agreed to pay by Tuesday. You've been borrowing from the bank for these past months already. If you were to prolong the deadline, I'm afraid you'll be charged with fees and interests sir."

The man's eyes widened. "What? Just because for that? I thought banks are supposed to help with the community?" He was growing irritated, he scratched his roughed skin caused by blunt razor blades as he glared unto the female.

"Sir, look." The female brushed her hair to the side and set down the files. "Yes the purpose of this bank is to deposit and to serve the ones willing to save their money, offering investments and buisnesses, and the loans and buisnesses provided and served here are important for enabling an economic growth..." The girl trailed off. "But if you pledged you'd pay by Tuesday, you should pay by then. That's the rule. Otherwise, interest may affect your bank account, and you'll end up paying the bank more. I'm just trying to help you."
