"Jungwoo! Wait!" Yuta hollered from behind trying to catch up to the pelting boy across from him. What felt like minutes or even an hour of the two endlessly chasing each other, the pacing of how those neighboring houses that vary in sizes and color sped by the corner of Yuta's eyes. He felt his adrenaline  aggressively course though his veins, how hefty his heartbeat gets each patting of his feet on the solid grey pavement. All his gaze fixated on was the back of the younger.

"JUNGWOO!"  Yuta screamed in an effort to catch the boy's attention. But he didn't respond and continued running.

"No more fighting! No more fighting!" Jungwoo yawped, the now sweat-soaked sleeve of his bit cold against his skin, his hair threw off water.

"Jungwoo! There's no fighting! Please calm down!"

Yuta had to push himself. He needed to. And if he isn't going to catch up with Jungwoo and give up, who knows where will that boy go on his own? Yuta felt cold air struck into his throat as he inhaled and exhaled, he can feel the exhaustion crawling in. He won't give up, he just can't.

With all the amount of his strength, he quickened his pace and eventually caught up to Jungwoo, catching him with his two strong arms.

The younger boy struggled in his grip. Sparing a glimpse at the boy, Yuta could see how frightened he looked and how much sweat that coated his milky skin, how his mouth released short breaths. He had never seen Jungwoo so agitated before and it scared Yuta a bit.

"Hey, hey.. Jungwoo.. Please don't panic. It's alright, everything is fine."

Jungwoo whimpered and covered both his ears.

Yuta tried prying away his hands away from his ears but the boy didn't seem like he wanted to hear him anyway. He was growing nervous as well. Jungwoo fell into a crouching position, his head hung low. "Yuta hyung..." The shakiness of his voice was evident. "I wanna go home... But what if they're still fighting?"

Yuta let a sigh pass his lips. "I'm sure it's alright now. Come, we need to go home—" Yuta was about to continue when he was cut off by the loud grumble in his stomach. They both haven't eaten yet.

Yuta held Jungwoo close. His chin rested on the younger's head. The boy scanned for his surroundings.

Weird. This is not the neighborhood Taeyong's house was. The two boys stood by on the right part of the sidewalks, he looked over to the other side which was separated by a wide asphalt. He checked for the signs or anything that stated where they are now. People are pretty useless since no one besides them were the only ones doting outside.
