Taeyong's eyes widened, his eyebrows arched. Where in the world did Chenle learn that? So far, he's sure that none of the children curse - unless..
"I'm sorry, where did you get that word...?"
Chenle's expression changed into a worried one. His eyebrows knitted. "Is it a bad word Mr. Taeyong?" The poor Chinese boy didn't know it indeed is, he thought the word sounded cool so maybe he could go around saying it.
He may understand korean but not as much.
"It is. Stop saying that okay? Who taught you that?" Taeyong shot him a stern look sending chills down to Chenle's spine. His tone changed too.
Should he tell him? Or no?
Chenle's lip quivered and he faced down, fiddling with his fingers. "N-No one.."
Taeyong's eyebrow raised. "Chenle. I'm not stupid. You didn't just get that from no on. Is it one of your brothers?"
Chenle's eyes widened but he slowly nodded.
"Who?"
"Please don't get mad at him..." The boy felt very guilty. He shouldn't have said that but he didn't know. "I'm sure Gege didn't mean to say it..."
Sighing, Taeyong rested his hand onto the boy's shoulder and gave it a soft squeeze. His eyes staring unto Chenle's own. "Look, I'll just talk to him. Who?"
"Ten-Gege.. I heard him say that once to Yangyang."
He knew it. That boy is seriously getting on Taeyong's nerves and it's not even a three days since he had him. But he knew better to not lash out on him right there.
This is going to be hard.
..
What felt like forever has passed and the teddy bear of Jisung welcomed their sight, as brand new and fixed just as what Taeyong had wanted. Sparkles danced in the eyes of the younger, happily retrieving the bear with the biggest smile ever. "Thank you!! Jisungie will be so so happy!" The boy bounced around the area like a bunny. It was cute.
"He's such a cutie. Is he your son?" The staff questioned with her eyebrow raised as she beamed at the sight of the younger's sweet gaiety, wrinkles started to form at the corner of her eyes. Taeyong let out a nervous chuckle before responding. "Ah no no.. I'm just taking care of him for now."
The smile on the lady's face slowly faded into a concerned one. "I see. That's alright."
Taeyong merely nodded with a small smile and bid the employee his farewell before escorting the cheerful boy out the store. He helped Chenle on the front passenger seat and buckled his seat belt. "Best you Mr. Taeyong!" Chenle attempted his korean. But Taeyong could only shake his head with a shy smile and made his way over to the driver's seat.
He started the car and drove back.

.So far everything is going pretty well actually. No screams, no fights, no nothing. After making health snacks for the kiddos with Renjun. Baekhyun had set the three bowls filled with various kinds of sliced fruits on the coffee table just in front of the sofa, plopping himself down afterwards. Renjun was very fun to talk with. Apparently, he had learned that the boy liked painting but has never really painted before. He just so happen to see paintings at the orphanage.
Baekhyun could get him a set for his birthday. He's yet to ask when. Renjun sat beside Baekhyun while YangYang and Lucas on the opposite side of where Renjun sat. Baekhyun grabbed the remote and pressed the on button, the Samsung-brand TV lit up before their eyes.
