"Ah.. Hello Jisung." Taeyong eyebrows raised when he saw the little boy sitting down with a blanket around him. Did he sleep on the floor? He could've just slept on the couch or better, on a bed. Then again, Doyoung has been trying to pull him away since earlier, he is one stubborn kid. Taeyong sighed. A smile stretched wide on Jisung's lips, scintillating sparkles danced in his crescent eyes.
"I was waiting for you, Mr. Taeyong. You took so long." Jisung outstretched his arm, making grabby hands towards the older. He would've expected this, it's Jisung after all, he's been like this ever since the first time he had encountered him, and the boy was already this clingy.
But his extreme attachment towards him was quite concerning, unhealthy rather. He's aware that he's a five year old so it's pretty normal since around his age, it's more likely for him to have seperating anxiety. Though, Jisung's behavior is pretty different from what Taeyong had expected. From the reports of Minsoo through texting him - which he wasn't able to see while working in the office and checked just before entering the door - while he was away, Jisung's attitude became violent. He would yank out the grass just to calm himself down at the backyard - which was why he spotted some dirt that smeared on Jisung's palm-, cry even which made Jungwoo more anxious, wait by the door.
He would give his brothers a harder time like what happened with Doyoung not too long ago.
It's only now Minsoo knew about his situation. But for the past few days, he seemed fine.
Minsoo was already aware Jisung had Athazagoraphobia ; a fear of abandonment, being forgotten or ignored. Jisung had already shown early signs of it eversince he was dropped in the orphanage because of his young parents. He probably had abusive parents too, but his attachment to them made it worse.
Taeyong bent down to pick the boy up and in response, Jisung instantly melted into the warm embrace of the male. Doyoung shot the older a look of disbelief.
"Wha- I thought-" Doyoung threaded his fingers through his locks in frustration. Who knew Jisung could be THAT easy to deal with, but Jisung had to take out his destructive behavior on him. Seeing how instantly Jisung calmed down when the older made his presence, albeit, Doyoung is grateful for Taeyong. He can see that Taeyong is capable of handling that leach Jisung in a benign but firm manner.
"It's alright, Doyoung." Taeyong chuckled and gently squeezed the shoulder. "Have you all eaten dinner?"
"Yeah, we did." Jaemin responded from the couch and leaned back.
"That's good." Taeyong took off his shoes and strode towards the couch to set Jisung down. But this action made Jisung leach unto him longer, with his arms and legs swathed around Taeyong's neck and relatively thin waist like a snake holding captive its prey with its lengthy figure. Taeyong could feel the heaviness pressured unto the upper part of his body as he leaned over, his shadow casting over the red velvet couch. This can't be good. Taeyong thought in panic. He tried to think of ways on how to detach this koala from him in the most gentle way possible. But how?
"Jisung baby. I need to shower. I'll be quick, I promise." Taeyong already had his one hand holding the boy's wrist while the other supported Jisung's back. He can feel the other shake his head.
"I'll shower with you then." Jisung nuzzled his chin.
Taeyong raised a questioning brow and glanced at Minsoo whom is comforting Jungwoo completely unaware of Taeyong's arrival. "Did you not shower, all of you?"
"We all did. Mr. Taeyong." Jisung smiled. "But I wanna shower with you."
"No." Taeyong let out a breathy chuckle and pinched his cheek, earning a yelp from the younger. "How about you get all your brothers ready for bed?"
