"Jung Jaehyun?" Taeyong smiled.

"Alright then."

..

The meeting went on pretty well and Taeyong was relieved it did. Apparently, he would have to start taking the children for their check ups next week. Which fortunately he wouldn't be as busy then. Taeyong found that Jaehyun was a conservative person as he didn't talk as much as his mother, which was interesting. If he were to count how much Jaehyun uttered a word, at most it's only four throughout an hour of the meeting. The most he said was two sentences about the children  and schedules. That's it.

When Hae-rim left to grab some drinks insisting she'd stay over at the bank for awhile — since during this hour not much people is going out — Taeyong shifted in his spot and turned to the younger across from him. It was silent for the first five minutes and the awkwardness  developing between them was starting to suffocate Taeyong. He shifted in his spot and clicked his tongue.

"So, since we might be meeting each other often. I look forward in cooperating with you, Mr. Jung." Taeyong started off with a smile which Jaehyun only shot him a raised brow. It took Jaehyun some time to muster up the right words in his head, this was one of the times where nothing should go wrong, where nothing would dare go wrong. The male wanted to choose the  appropriate response so it wouldn't lead to any misunderstandings. "Likewise." Was all he managed to squeeze out from his mouth despite having a whole sentence already formed in his head. Oh well. Jaehyun thought, biting the inner part of his cheek.

"You.. have a lovely office." The words  slipped out as Jaehyun eyed the cube like room surrounded by glass. "I hope it doesn't sound weird.. or anything."

Taeyong shook his head. "Ahh, thank you. I really like having my office clean - and no no, it doesn't sound weird, haha." He chuckled in an effort to rid of the growing agitation on the younger's face. He is very careful with his words. Taeyong thought.

"Right." Jaehyun pursed his lips. "Nineteen children is hard to take care of, huh?"

"Oh tell me about it." Taeyong straightened his back and adjusted his sitting position. "It's been six days, I've experienced quite a-lot."

Within the six day span, it's considered short and that the fact Taeyong have gone through a-lot to maintain everything in place and the children. From dealing with Donghyuck and Jisung's fight, Chittaphon's bitchy attitude towards him, that one morning with the flying pots and bugs and his boiled wound. What more if he's going to come home to an infuriated rich lady threatening to take down his house for something he didn't partake in at all but what Renjun had caused? – he doesn't know that yet.

"I can tell." Jaehyun chuckled. "I look forward meeting them."

Taeyong made a noncommittal sound of agreement.  A smile embellished on his lips.

"Will you bring the kids altogether or in batches? I could maybe book the appointment for three days next week."

"Most likely batches. I can't fit all of them in my car." A sigh passed Taeyong's lips. "I could have Minsoo help me bring, but I think she will be busy next week. Bo-Ah, on a work trip, and Seo-min, business..." He trailed off now to his own world. Every name he has mentioned, he'd bring out one finger and mentally count the one's available and the one's occupied. Jaehyun found this quite intriguing.

"Batches. But the gas-"

"You know, I can come over time to time." Jaehyun chimed in, cutting Taeyong off. It took the younger some time to process what he just blurted out. "Excuse me?"

"Ah, my bad. I shouldn't have said so." Jaehyun wanted to slap himself there. So unprofessional. He couldn't name another moment more embarrassing than this one, and this act of his just shot up in front of someone he barely knew, someone of a trustworthy position. What will he think of him now?
