When the booming shriek erupted from where Taeyong knelt down, all of the children's heads twisted only to fall on kitchen. They all scurry towards where the sound originated from and peeped by the wall seperating the cuisine from the living and dining room. Johnny was the first to head inside and leaned over to see what happened. His eyes dilated in pure suprise.

What featured on the right arm of Taeyong was this flaky, reddish mark that stretched over where the water was spilled. It wasn't a minute when Taeyong's once milky soft skin started to have boils that decorated the arm like freckles. Taeyong had his eyes squinted and immediately rushed over to the sink and quickly turned on the faucet wherein cool water started trickling down. He positioned his arm just where the water was falling and winced in pain the moment liquid smacked upon the burnt area. As he was cooling down the area, he whipped his attention over to Xiaojun. "Xiaojun. Listen to me, don't move until I have this burnt skin cool down okay? If you move, the pain will worsen. Is the glass too deep?"

Xiaojun looked at Taeyong and then to the scar. The fear Xiaojun held was insanely evident, he gulped and closed his eyes. Taeyong sighed. "Alright, as much as possible don't look at it. Johnny, can you see? Is the shard deep or not?"

Johnny went over to Xiaojun and crouched down beside him, examining the pierced glass before him. He looked over to Taeyong. "The glass doesn't seem too deep. It's only small."

Taeyong nodded. "Alright. I think I'll be able to take that out. Just be with Xiaojun if anything happens."

Taeyong is no doctor nor majored in any medical degree. But he did know the basics of first aid and which medicine to use for the appropriate times. It was a good thing that Taeyong's parents would always make him read all sorts of books during his free time, not to mention even summer break. Back then, he hated it and thought this was no use. But Taeyong felt grateful he took the time to read those books especially the medical genre ones.

It has been twenty minutes since Taeyong had cooled down the burnt portion of his arm. He closed the faucet and gently elevated his arm at heart level.

Taeyong whipped his head over to Doyoung. "Doyoung. The first aid is by the cabinet on the right. Could you please get it?"

Doyoung wordlessly nodded and did as told. He later came back with a cube-like kit that on the front it depicted of a red cross sign.

Taeyong was about to retrieve the kit when Doyoung retracted the kit from Taeyong's reach. The older raised a brow. "I'll do it for you, Mr. Taeyong. I don't think you can put it with one hand.."

Taeyong smiled and nodded. Doyoung set down and opened the kit, taking out of what it seemed like a sterile dressing. He made his way over to Taeyong whom crouched down so Doyoung would be able to wrap the clean cloth around his right arm.

"Was there a moist bandage there? I'm sure that would help shorten the healing time of the wound rather than that?" Taeyong raised a brow.

(A/N : i actually researched about this haha. I would've described how this moist bandage would do to a burnt skin but the effects are confusing lmao.)

Doyoung shrugged. "I didn't see. I only saw this bandage. Maybe this can be of temporary use for now." The boy gently wrapped the sterile bandage around Taeyong's elevated right arm. When the cloth fully secured his arm, Taeyong thanked the younger in which in return, Doyoung flashed his sweet bunny-like smile. Taeyong found it adorable and ruffled his hair with his left hand.

Taeyong then made his way over to the seated male and sat beside Xiaojun. He took a good look at the pierced knee. Like what Johnny said, the glass luckily wasn't as deep. Taeyong can take that out pretty quickly.
