"Taeyong."..
The male huffed a relieved sigh.
Finally, after a painful 30 minute heavy traffic, the wheels started moving again. Apparently, two drunk people came to mess along the road and flung rocks at the other cars. That explains as to why screams and honking of cars constantly rung through his ears. He thought it would die down but no— it didn't.Luckily, the officers guided the cars to an alternate route but it still led to the same path Taeyong was supposed to go, but this road is longer than the other. Those two drunk people had to sabotage his shortcut.
He made it to the car wash just a five minute walk away from the store. This, what Taeyong proclaims as the golden spot, or most likely the jackpot. Taeyong mentally took note of this street. He eventually drove in his car inside the place and requested for a wash.
As he got out and paid, he walked out of the car wash place and strode to the store for groceries.
~
And he got out with atleast three fat grocery bags. Taeyong promised himself to not get too much, it seemed like his conscience got the better of him.
He won't be shopping for the next three weeks, yes it's that many.
Trudging back to his black crossover, he returned to a shiny, spotless vehicle and he was very impressed. The prize was pretty much worth it and he mentally took note of this place.
"xxx street. Okay." Taeyong mumbled to himself as he struggled forward with the three burdensome bags. One of the employees offered him some help and Taeyong was very grateful for him. He opened the trunk and laid out the bags there.
Taeyong carried one, he carried two.
And because of that, he decided to tip the man with an extra 10 dollars.Sliding inside the driver's seat, he started the car and drove off back to his home.
~
It was around three in the afternoon and Taeyong was now ten minutes away from home. He felt excitement surge through him, he didn't know why though but it just did.
Taeyong had this smile of achievement.
He halted the car as the traffic light flashed red and leaned back, his hands gripped the wheel.
It was not for long when a call snapped out his thoughts. He reached over and swiped the accept icon, putting it in speaker.
"Taeyong!"
It was Bo-Ah.
"Yes? Where are you? I nearly forgot about our meet up hahaha. Good thing you called. Where do we meet again?"
"Taeyong change of plans haha."
Taeyong raised a brow.
"Listen. Meet me by the park. I need to ask you something."
"Why not ask me no-"
And she ended the call. Mysterious much? Taeyong felt as if he's starring in this thriller, horror movie. Whereas he's driving through the dark night and suddenly a phone call erupted —
He shook the idea off not wanting to continue it. It sent him chills.
Taeyong finally arrived at the park where Bo-ah said where they'd meet. He parked the car on the side and jumped off, locking his car.
He proceeded down the bricked pathway passing by some trees and children playing on one of the grassed areas. Taeyong came by this bench which was under a big tree and sat, waiting patiently for the woman.
