When Taeyong entered the guest room, the boys' attention twisted only to fall on the older by the cabinet, he took the plates of Donghyuck and Jisung.

"Hi Mr. Taeyong!" Chenle, with a smile waved happily. The older turned his attention over to the younger and beamed with pleasure. "Hello, Chenle."

Taeyong went out of the room and descended to the first floor and to the kitchen. He washed the two dirty dishes in the sink, opening the dish washer and placed the plates there. He used the dish washer as if it's merely just storage for his silverware. It's either Taeyong didn't know how to use it or did he ever find it useful for the past two years living here.

Saying it could be saving electricity, he could take it that way.

Taeyong went back upstairs to retrieve the ripped teddy bear and its detached arm. Maybe he'll have it fixed today. He isn't very busy right now.

But who'd watch over the kids?

Taeyong thought. Though, it's just a quick drive, just 20 minutes away from the village. But 20 minutes of leaving the children alone, he can get anxious about it.

Calling a friend over won't hurt right? The first that popped in his mind was Bo-Ah. But she might be busy.

Seo-min perhaps? Taeyong shook his head. He has a wife and a daughter that's easily jealous so it won't do. Minsoo can but he doubts he has her new number saved.

He scrolled through his contact list. As he did so, Chenle waddled over to where Taeyong stood and plopped himself down by him. Taeyong failed to notice the puppy eye stare Chenle was giving him.

Taeil ushered Chenle to go back seeing that Taeyong was a bit busy. But the younger merely sticked his tongue out and diverted his gaze to the older.

His eyes widened slightly and pressed onto that user. The phone started ringing on the other side.

A few minutes later, he could hear faint shuffling of sheets and soft breathing.

"Who's this?" The voice croaked indicating he had just woken up.

Taeyong laughed. "Ahh, did I wake you?"

"You think?"

"Anyways, are you busy right now?" Taeyong faced Chenle who sat by him and ruffled his locks.

"No, today's my day off."

"Great. Think you can come here?"

He heard the other sigh. "Give me a reason why then."

"To be with the kids. No one's here but me to watch them."

It was a moment of silence. Taeyong arched his brow. "Hello?"

"K-Kids?" He could hear the shock in his tone.

"I'll explain later." Taeyong sighed. "I'll be off to the sewing shop to get Jisung's teddy fixed."

"Jisung?"

"One of the kids."

The other hummed.

"Fine, I'll go there. How long will you take?" The other questioned.

"The nearest sewing shop is atleast 20 minutes away. I'll try to be quick."

"Alright, I'll be there."

Taeyong felt his lips curl into a smile as if the other can physically see it.

"Thank you, Baekhyun."

And with that he ended the call. Chenle shot him a puzzled look. "Where are you going?"
