Taeyong is a simple man.
A simple man living in a simple two story house and is living a simple life. No one can dare take it away from him. Taeyong pushed open the sliding door leading to his backyard, he scanned the 2000 sq ft yard which is enclosed by brown fences surrounding the area. He smiled in satisfaction knowing that the flowers on the side were healthy and just as alluring as he expected it to be. He's been into gardening these days, and it all started with a close friend of his, Bo-ah.

Taeyong at first didn't like the idea of having flowers in his backyard and was somehow against it. But because of how nicely it appeared and it contributed to the aesthetics of Bo-Ah's house, maybe he'd like to give it a try, and so Bo-Ah decided to teach Taeyong gardening.
And look where it got him. A beautiful, aesthetic backyard - or more of a flower land.

He walked along the trimmed grass and sat on one of those swinging bench just at the far end. Taeyong contemplated his backyard. Hard work indeed leads to amazing prizes.

"Ahh. You did well." He praised himself, giving his thigh a pat. A smile crept its way up to his lips.
It wasn't for long when he decided to go back inside as it started to grow cloudy.

Once he was inside, he tapped the wooden flooring before going over to the kitchen just across. He took from the refrigerator of what it seemed like a cold pitcher and a glass just set on the countertop. He poured and drank, feeling refreshed afterwards.

Now that he thought of it, it's probably been awhile since he has gone out. Despite the cloudy weather, probably a nice self outing to a cafe just downtown would do the trick. After all, having a sweet coffee under such a calming day will rid of the stress.

He's already dressed anyways. He just needed to put some sneakers and he's good to go.

There's nothing else to do in his homey yet lonely household after all.

He strode across the flooring to the main entrance and plopped himself down on the indoor step where all his shoes were pressed against the sides. He leaned over, took hold of the pair of sneakers by the back and pulled it towards him.

He slipped in his sneakers afterwards and used his index finger to adjust the back.

And he was all set to go.

Rising up, he tapped both his feet and gazed over his shoulder to do double checks around the house, all locked, secured, wallet with him. All set.

And there he proceeded to the entrance door and shut it behind him, locking it for - of course - safety.

He gracefully descended through the outdoor steps and walked along the bricked pathway leading to his black crossover car parked at the side. Taeyong had second thoughts in using the vehicle to go to the cafe since it's just down the street. But just in case of maybe dropping by stores for groceries, he won't have to worry about bringing dozens home.

He got inside.

Taeyong was about to start the car when his phone rung in his pockets. He let out a sigh and brought the phone by his ear, swiping the answer icon in the process. "Hello?"

"Hello Hello? Taeyong-ah?" A smile curled his lips. It was Bo-Ah.

"Hey! How are you?" Taeyong asked gleefully, his eyes sparked with excitement.

"Good good haha. Hey, where are you now?"

"At my house currently, I'm on my way to the cafe just down the street. You know it. Want me to get you anything?" His eyebrow arched.

"Ahh. No need hahaha. Just wanted to check."

Call just to check, typical Bo-Ah.
Seriously, when Taeyong says Bo-Ah can be his mother, she can and will and is. Taeyong adored her and aspire to be like her, personality and character wise.
