Part Twenty-Two: Heartbreak

Y/ns pov-
I had woken up before peter so I got some breakfast. I went back to my room and he woke up.

"Please tell me that was all a horrible dream"
I sat down beside him and shook my head
"It, unfortunately, wasn't"

"I'm so stupid"
He sighed and said
"Simple mistake"

I kissed his cheek then kissed his lips.

"Love you"
He smiled "Love you too"

I stood up and looked at him and he gasped
"Last night I was thinking about you the whole time I was at the party so I was wishing that I had been on a date with you instead of that party. So how about a date today?"

I giggled "I'd love that"

"I'm gonna go home and change but meet at 10?"

I nodded and then he left

I did my makeup and got into a cute, casual, outfit. We met up and had a coffee date.

Remember a little while ago when my parents said they were going to get married.. well they started to plan it and said they figured out a date.

Peter sat across from me in the little coffee shop when my dad called me to tell me.

"What?!"
I nearly screamed into the phone.
"Is that why you guys have been gone-"
I looked at Peter and covered my mouth. I put down my phone and looked at peter

"What?"
He said

"My parents figured out a date of when they're going to get married"

Peter gasped "That's awesome!"
I smiled

Peter was wearing a hoodie and he looked really cute today. I looked at him and then he caught me starring

"You look really cute," I said and he chuckled
"You are more"

I looked down at my empty coffee cup and sighed.

All of a sudden I heard Happys voice
"I've been looking everywhere for you. Where have you been"

I looked up and happy stood looking annoyed and tired

"Oh sorry I didn't tell you I was leaving"

"You need someone to protect you since now people know you"

I pointed to peter.
"Um hello"

Happy groaned "Not to be discussed"
"Do you have to follow me everywhere?"
I asked standing up.

"Yes"
He said
I scoffed
"What about Wanda and vision. They need to be protected at home"
"They are"
Happy said.

I looked at peter then happy.
"I'm done anyway"
"Good"
Happy said and guided me to the car not even able to say anything to peter.

He made me sit in the backseat which wasn't normal.
"Why are you treating me like a little kid"
"If you act like one you'll get treated like one"

I scoffed
"Just because I'm going on a date with my boyfriend and everyone asleep so I don't tell them I'm leaving... makes me a child?"

"Yes"
Happy said without hesitation

"I can't believe this. You can't even tell I'm me."  Happy put up the little window and I nearly screamed.

"Bullshit"
I said under my breathe.

We got home. Happy opened the door and I stormed inside.

"We're back-"
My dad started to say to me but I just walked off. If they're going to make a big deal about me leaving then I will too.

I went to my room and closed the door.

"Sorry I left you. I can't believe they're treating me like a little baby! For no reason."
I texted peter
"No worries baby. :)"
Peter messaged back and I couldn't help but smile at him calling me baby.

Someone knocked on the door and I stayed quiet
"It's Wanda. Open the door please"

I stood up and opened the door.
"What's up"
She gave me a hug and I hugged back.

She smiled "that's all"
Then walked off.
I shrugged then closed my door again.

Later-
Everyone forgot about the little incident that happened earlier. My dad had left again even though he just came back.

While I was making lunch I got a text from peter.

"Can we call"
He messaged me. I picked up my phone and called him.

"Hi b-"
"We need to break up"

I froze.
"Wha-Wha-What?"
My hearted to beat out of my chest. Please be a joke. Please be a prank call. Please be Ned telling him what to say as a joke.

"I like someone else"
He said with hesitation.

My heart sunk but also felt like I was running a marathon "What- I don't understand"

"I just don't- I can't be with you!"

Tears started to fill up my eyes like a pool.

"But-but it doesn't- make sense- peter please wh-why"

Tears fell down my face slowly as my hands were shaking.

"We're done. I'm sorry.."

He hung up and I started to burst out crying. I fell to the floor not understanding anything. I wanted to scream I wanted to break everything.

I tried calming myself down but I just made myself worse. I threw my phone across the kitchen still sobbing.

I'd like to explain the timeline. It's about the time wherein infinity war they found out about everything with Thanos but in this storyline, infinity war happens later in time.
