Annabeth

Day two of being stuck in hell. Well hell maybe mildly overstating it. It wasn't that bad. Just that, oh you know, I was stuck in there, I had no way out, no one I knew was possibly going to come and help me out, and Luke was constantly checking in on me, like, Luke if you cared about how I was, why won't you let me go?
The general post panic point reaction to sum it up. The only thing I was so worried about, that sometimes I felt like passing out, was Luke threatening Percy. Whatever was going on, it clearly had something to do with my dad- that much I'd guessed. Which meant that it had something to do with me. But Percy- Percy had nothing to do with this. And every time I shut my eyes, I was back on the park bench, back with Percy, a wild look in his eyes, as he kissed me. And then Luke's hurt blue eyes- somehow I don't think he faked that, no one could possibly fake that. But then again, I never knew he'd be capable of doing that. People surprise you that way.
Ah there he is. Luke walked in, looking particularly annoyed. Since the handcuffs were off, I knew I could have just run out, but for the most part, I knew it was hopeless. Knowing this psychopath, he probably had bodyguards. And his bodyguards would have bodyguards. What was the point of trying?
"Hello Annie." He said, his eyes resting on me, a thin smile growing on his face.
I rolled my eyes, not bothering to respond. I saw the Happy Meal in his hands, and eyed it. If there was something I learnt from reading way too much fan fiction, was that you better eat while you can. I wasn't stupid enough to refuse.
"So why you mad?" I blurted out. I hated not knowing. "What?" He asked, caught off guard. Maybe he really had forgotten we'd been in a relationship for a couple months now.
His brow furrowed even deeper, "You'll be having company soon." He said, the cool tone back in
The temperature seemed to dip ten degrees. Percy. I thought.
"Oh it's not Jackson, if that's what you're wondering." he said with a laugh, leaving the meal in my hands. He walked up to the door and spoke clearly. "Bring the girl in."
I sucked my breath. It was Rachel.

His green eyes were looking right into mine. "You must help me- Rachel- they're dangerous. I'm- I'm ashamed I ever considered that alliance." he said, his words rushing into each other, his forehead creased with worry.
I would've told him he was right to be ashamed- but I was a little preoccupied feeling sorry for him, and worried about Rachel. Never had the thought crossed my mind that Annabeth was anywhere else but safe at home, probably mad at me, and probably designing a building or writing her next hit song.
"Mr. Dare," I said slowly, knowing very well my friends were watching me, most of them very confused. "Tell me everything you know."
He sighed, and started. "The Titans were a large organisation back in the day. Then no one really knows why, but there was a split. Most of the younger ones, formed their own company- naming it the Olympians. Athena-," I froze for a second there, my shoulders stiffening. "Athena as in Annabeth's mom?" I asked, knowing quite well what the answer would be. "Yes, her, the first one to be attacked— the Titans were responsible for her death. In fact, the size of the Olympians has been reducing over the past two decades, even though the company no longer exists—,"
"So you're saying these guys- these Titans are psycho killers?" Thalia asked. I spun around, forgetting for a moment that everyone was staring with concern.
"To sum it up, yes."
"And what does Annabeth have to do with this?" Piper demanded, her kaleidoscope eyes blazing.
"Fredrick Chase—I do not know if he knowingly knows, or doesn't, but he owns what the Titan's want- Athena's last project."
"The Fisher." Nico said, softly, but the word seemed to echo across the room.
"Who are you, boy?" Mr. Dare asked, clearly surprised; as was I. Only Annabeth and Rachel knew about it.
"I was much younger—maybe ten; I remembered him talking about it- after Bi—, after someone I knew disappeared. Just like what you said about Athena."
I knew how hard it had been for Nico to tell Mr. Dare that as well. Not many of us knew about Bianca- his biological sister. I remembered her vaguely, with longish dark hair, and that overprotectiveness about her, and dark eyes just like Nico's.
"You're Hades' boy." Mr. Dare said suddenly. "You look quite similar. I remember him from the files the Titan's gave me in the beginning."
Nico stayed silent, his gaze fixed on the ketchup stain on the couch. That's when Hazel spoke up, "What the hell does our father have to do with this?"
By this time, I'd guessed. "Hazel, your dad was one of them."
Murmurs went around the room. "And what of Rachel?" I asked.
"Gone. But I think they're still holding her captive. They have several locations all over the city- she could be anywhere. I just- I want her back-,"
"We know Mr. Dare- come on, let's go search. You have the locations after all."
"It's dangerous boy-," he'd begun, shaking his head when the knob turned, almost like it was ten times louder, and I saw a crab claw, that sweet face with red glitter all over it, rushing into the house and freezing- realising that there were people over. "Hi." She muttered, and everyone nervously smiled back and muttered hi's and sup Estelle and how ya doing kiddo.
Mom walked in later, she knew that they were over, but when Mr. Dare saw her he looked like she'd hit him with a frying pan. "Sally Jackson- Percy Jackson—you- you look just like him." He said turning to me again.
Her warm brown eyes had never looked colder as she eyed him.
"Get out of my house Dare."
