It had been two days and my headache was finally gone. I could easily tell Louis was getting wrestles with having to stay quiet all the time and it was pretty funny. He slipped a couple times and when he did, he was scolded by Liam which was also funny. Niall was acting the same as he had been for the last two days.

He would kiss my hand, forehead, cheeks and lips when nobody would be looking. He also held my hand whenever he could and at night, he would sneak into my room when everyone was asleep and leave early in the morning before they woke up. I kind of suspected he liked me but I didn’t want to get my hopes up.

I was in the kitchen, trying to find something to eat for breakfast when Harry and Riley walked in. “Hey guys.” I smiled. The two of them gave me a pleading look and I knew something was going on. “What?” I sighed, giving them my full attention. They quickly looked at each other then back at me. “Can we go to a club tonight? Please!” the both said at the same time.

Really? That’s what they wanted? I knew they all wanted to go out the past two days, and no matter how many times I told them to go have fun, they wouldn’t leave me. Truth was, I wanted to go out just as bad. This headache had been killing me.

“Well, I don’t know. My head still hurts and I’m not really in the mood.” I said. I turned my back to them and looked in the fridge so they couldn’t see the huge smile that was on my face. “You seem fine Pay, please! I haven’t had time to fish for any Florida boys yet!” Riley whined.

“Why would Florida boys be interested in you when nobody else is?” Harry laughed. I heard a smacked and laughed, knowing Riley had hit him. “Please!” Riley pleaded again. I turned and she gave me her famous puppy dog eyes. “Better make sure it’s okay with daddy direction first.” I smirked. She smiled and quickly ran out of the kitchen. I didn’t know Harry was still here until he spoke.

“Maybe you’ll get lucky with Niall tonight.”

I turned to see him wiggling his eyebrows at me. I picked up a dishtowel and threw it at his face. Even though he was being a pig, I couldn’t help but laugh. “I’m lucky enough to at least have him in my life.” I told Harry. He nodded and sat at the table. "What’s with Riley and this guy fishing thing?” He asked. I shrugged and made myself some cereal.

“She’s a flirt. Like you!” I told him. I greabbed my cereal and sat across from him at the table. “Oh.” He replied. I took a spoonful of Special K and studied Harry’s movements. He was tapping his fingers against the table, his eyebrows were bunched up together and he had he thinking face on. “Awe, are you thinking about Riley?” I joked. He froze in his seat and looked at me with wide eyes. “No!” He answered quickly. Harry’s face flushed and he looked away from me.

Oh my God.

“You like Riley!” I yelled. He looked back at me and his eyes were wider than before. “Do not!” He hissed at me. I obviously knew that he was lying. “Yes, you do.” I said more quietly this time. He looked around the kitchen as if he were looking for someone. “So what if I do?” he finally whispered.

This was honestly perfect. They were like, the perfect couple! Minus the arguing. But since we got to Florida, they actually started being nice to one another and acting like friends. “Do you want to be with her?” I asked, completely forgetting my cereal. He didn’t respond so I took that as a yes and continued. “Show her you care, don’t argue, don’t pick fights, compliment her, have fun with her and don’t you dare take advantage of her when she’s been drinking. Got it?”

He nodded. “Got what?” Niall asked, walking into the kitchen. “Well Har-”

“Nothing!” Harry interrupted. I guess it was a good thing since Riley walked into the kitchen at that moment, dressed and ready to go out. “Tonight’s a go! I need to go shopping for something hot.” She smirked. “You always look hot.” Harry said.

Niall began coughing on the milk he had just been drinking and I tried so hard to contain my laughter. Riley’s expression was priceless. I couldn’t see Harry, but I’m sure he looked like a tomato. “I’ll come with you.” I told Riley, standing up from the table. “Okay, I’ll be in the car.” The expression on her face didn’t change as she quickly walked out of the kitchen. Once we heard the sound of the front door shut, Niall and I bursted into a fit of laughter.

“It’s not funny.” Harry mumbled, looking down at his hands. “Mate, did you really just say that and wink at her?” Niall laughed. “Oh my God! You winked!?” I joined in. Harry buried his face into his hands to try and hide his embarrassment. I’m surprised Liam, Zayn and Louis hadn’t woken up from Niall and I laughing yet. “I don’t see what the big deal is. You’re used to me acting like that around girls.” Harry said. “But it’s Riley! She’s not just some slut who will let you screw her whenever you want. She has feelings.” Niall told him.

“You don’t think I know that!?” Harry yelled before storming off into the living room. “What’s wrong with him?” Niall asked. “He likes Riley.” I whispered. He looked confused, but soon a sudden realization crept onto his face. “Really?” He whispered back. I nodded and made my way up to my room to get changed.

Once I got dressed, I joined Riley in the car. I opened my mouth to speak but ended up laughing. “Shut up! That was so creepy and weird.” She said. I rolled my eyes. “He was just trying to get under your skin.” I told her. I couldn’t tell her the real reason. She’d be too afraid to go back into the condo. “I can’t stand him.” She mumbled. We drove to the closest mall in silence and I kept noticing different facial expressions on Riley’s face.

I knew she was busy thinking, but I was smart enough to know that I shouldn’t ask.
