“I can’t work tonight. I’m to tired.” Riley whined. I rolled my eyes as I walked out of the room to get dressed. “Well we get paid good for not doing a whole lot, and rent is due soon! We’re lucky to get an extra shift!” I called from my room down the hall.

It was our second year of university and Riley still didn’t understand that she had to take more responsibility. We worked at a club that was a few blocks away from our apartment. All we did was take people’s orders, and bring their drinks or whatever they asked for, back to them. So we were pretty much waitresses.

We also had to make sure that some of the customers got home safely. Most of the time we drove them home though. It wasn’t so bad, but there were a few men who were a little to touch for my liking. I walked back to Riley’s room and put my hands on my hips. “Fine.” Riley rolled off her bed and started getting dressed.

It had been two years since graduation, which means it’s been two years since I’ve last seen the boys. A lot has changed. Riley and I were now sharing an apartment. It wasn’t big, but it was nice. It had three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room. Everything we needed.

Our apartment was pretty much around the corner from our university. We could easily walk there, but being the lazy asses we are, we still drove. Riley was studying to become a writer. I had read some of her stuff and it was actually pretty good. As for me, I was studying law, but I really wanted to be a model. I only studied to be a lawyer because of my mom.

The boys were getting bigger and bigger. Even some friends we made were huge fans. I walked downstairs and waited. “Are you ready yet?” I called to Riley.

Riley walked out of her room and down the stairs. She was all dressed in our usual uniform.

Our uniform consisted of a black v-neck t-shirt that was a little low, black shorts with studs on them, and a pair of black boots I would probably never wear. We had to wear all black, which was a total bummer, but we got paid well so I guess it was fine.

“Ready.” She said once she reached me. She pulled her blonde hair out of her pony and it fell in curls. Her hair had grown longer since high school. It was halfway down her back now. Mine was longer to. It was almost to my waist.

We left the apartment and got into our separate cars. Riley still had her Audi TT and I still had my Escalade that Riley helped my mom pay for as a graduation gift for me. “I wish we didn’t have to take separate cars. It would be a lot easier.” I said once Riley parked her car beside me and jumped out.

“Well if we didn’t have to drive a bunch of drunk’s home then we wouldn’t have to.” Riley said as we walked towards the club entrance. We walked in and there was already a bunch of people who were very drunk. “Alright. I’ll see you later.” I sighed, making my way to the bar.

“Hey babe.” I turned on my heels to see Nick making his way towards me. Once he reached me, he leaned down and gave me a soft kiss. “I thought you weren’t working tonight?” I said to my boyfriend.

Nick and I met about a year and a half ago when I first got the job and we his it off right away. “Yeah, well apparently we’ve got some big shot coming in tonight so I have to help keep a few people out.” He said, rolling his eyes.

Nick was pretty much a security guard. It was his job to make sure people were behaving and to keep underage people out. “Alright, I’ll see you later.” I gave him a quick kiss and started working. I saw Riley at a table full of guys, taking their order.

The funny thing was, they already had a full beer in front of each of them. Riley tossed her hair over her should as she listened to one of them talk. God she was still such a flirt.

I slowly made my way around, hoping to get a good look at their faces. And when I did, I shot Riley a thumbs up. They were cute and were her definitely her type. She was still into the whole bad boy thing.

“Well, if you aren’t going to order anything, I’m getting back to work.” She said, giving them her signature smirk. She turned to leave but didn’t manage to make it anywhere before one of the guys smacked her ass. She looked at me and rolled her eyes.
