He silently cursed himself. He was perched his window sill as he silently climbed into his bedroom. He really wanted to take a shower but his dad was home this week meaning, mom was home and not at work. Which meant that he had to be extra quiet. His mom was a light sleeper which was just perfect.
He silently pulled off his mask, boots, and goggles. He took off the hoodie and used the flashlight on his phone to examine a bruise blooming on his rib cage.
Of course he had to run into a guy that night with a strength enhancing quirk. And of course it was totally necessary for him to punch the emerald boy.
He pulled on a shirt, wincing as he did so before standing up and walking over to the dresser to find a pair of pajama pants.
Despite all of these inconveniences he came home that night exhausted but at the same time on top of the world.
He did good and he didn't die. That call's for celebration. Maybe he would buy something for himself from a convenience store.
'No' he thought. He didn't deserve a reward. Evanescent was still dead because of him. He killed a man and that was unforgivable.
He tripped over something on the floor, falling face first with a thud. He groaned.
"Izuku?" His mother knocked on the door.
'Sh**********************************t!'
"Is everything ok?"
"Y-Yeah mom! Everything's fine! I just tripped over something!" He peeked his head out the door.
"What are you doing up at this hour?"
"I just needed to use the restroom is all! Sorry for waking you." he said sheepishly.
"Oh ok." She yawned. "Goodnight"
She headed back to her room. He closed the door and let out a sigh of relief.
'There's school tomorrow. I need sleep.'

Bakugou's POV
The damn nerd has been acting strange these past couple of days. He no longer flinches or stutters. Actually now that he thought about it, Deku hasn't spoken in a while. Even when he gets blasted he doesn't even yelp.
He just sits there with these dead eyes. He doesn't react to anything and frankly its a little concerning.
Not that he cared about a worthless Deku like him. Why would he? That damn nerd doesn't even try to become a hero. He's just off in cloud land being annoyingly optimistic and delusional.
Izuku's POV
Possibly trigger warningIt's been a rough day. Kacchan has been in a particularly bad mood and well, that brought us to here.
His back slammed into the ground. He cried out and just layer there. What was the point in getting up only to be used as a human punching bag?
This seemed to really piss Kacchan off. He grabbed the emerald boy by the hair and yanked his head up.
"L-Let me go!"
"So you finally talk you sh*tty deku."
"L-let go!"
The blond boy just snickered.
"Or what you damn nerd?"
He began hyperventilating and clawing at the blond boy's hand in panic with one hand. The other went to his throat as he gasped for air.
'I-I-I-I can't breathe!'
The blond boy let go.
"Deku wtf?! Deku?! Deku!"
The green haired boy scrambled away from them desperately on his hands and knees, until he was against a wall.
His hands ran through his green curls, as if to remind himself that no one was gripping it.
"Get a teacher!" Bakugo barked at his lackies. They both ran off to go find one.
Bakugou turned to the emerald boy. His eyes were glassy.
"Deku?" He asked as he reached for the boy.
The boy violently flinched and yelled "GET AWAY!" Knocking his hand away before scrambling up and running from him.
The blond just sat there, frozen.
