It had been a couple days since the last time he had been to the beach. A storm came in and prevented him from being able to go since the rain and wind made the uneven terrain dangerous to navigate. Well, at least that is until he was done clearing a pathway.

He was very curious as to what might have been exposed due to the trash being knocked over.

He had been searching through the trash for weeks, trying to find materials that he could use for his vigilante costume.

He had found and fixed up a couple of tools that he could use to make support items. Thank God that he thought to study support course materials and textbooks.

He had so far salvaged a welder, a mask for welding, a drill, a soldering iron, a lamp, and couple of other fun toys. He had been storing them an old cooler with a cracked handle.

Speaking of the dump, he had finally made it.

He climbed to the top of a mountain of trash. It was a Sunday and had been hours since he had begun his search and he had found nothing of interest other than a painting of the principal of UA high.

Sighing, he grabbed onto a bicycle handle jutting out of the pile to catch his breath. Suddenly, it came loose and he fell down the trash mound.

"Gah!"

He fell on top of a hard metal surface with a bang noise. Groaning, he sat up and rubbed his head. He landed on a what looked like a giant metal shipping crate?

It was probably about 10 meters long and 3 and a half meters wide. (Roughly 30 ft by 10 ft) It looks like it somehow managed to get washed up on shore.

He climbed down and picked up a pair of bolt cutters.
He climbed down and pulled out a Bobby-pin out of his pocket.

Picking the lock, he smiled in triumph.

Breaking the lock he smiled in triumph.

Maybe there would be something of use to him in here?

He opened the doors and smirked. Finally, something he could work with.

The giant metal box contained a shipment of military grade Kevlar.

The reason why Kevlar is so great is because it is 5 times stronger than steel on an equal weight basis and provides reliable performance and solid strength. A sewing needle does not move anywhere near the speed of a bullet so he wouldn't have any issues sewing with it.

Something to keep in mind when working with Kevlar is that it is effective when it's packed together in layers. A single layer of kevlar will not do much, but multiple layers compressed together can be incredibly strong. Good thing there was a ton of it.

Kevlar is UV sensitive, but thankfully it hadn't been exposed to sunlight. If it was then it would degrade and lose its properties.

Most kevlar weaves are fairly loose. Kevlar is designed to resist high speed, blunt projectiles(like a bullet). However, its not as effective against sharp, lower speed object (knives).

He had hit the jackpot.
