~~~Belt test~~~
Izuku's POV
Chewing on my lip, I headed over to the dojo. Kacchan was in a bad mood today and well... you can guess what happened next.
Anyways I have a burn on my forearm. I hope that we are just working on kicks today.
"Hey green bean!" Greeted the violet eyed man.
"Good afternoon Sensei!" I replied.
"You ready?"
I tilted my head to the side.
"Ready for what Sensei?"
"Did you seriously forget? The belt test is today!"
I froze. How in the world had I forgotten? I had been counting the days leading up to this moment.
I suppose that the discovery of the bullet proof material could have caused the event to have slipped from my mind.
"Let's go you little knuckleheads."
Snapping out of my thoughts, I ran to catch up with my fellow students.
~~~~~

I tapped my foot nervously on the ground

Today was my first belt test. This was the chance to see if I have actually improved at all. I really hope that I can pass. I need to pass in order to take the next step forward in my training in order to make sure that I don't die on my first patrol.

I also need to make sure that I got home in time so mom doesn't notice that I'm gone. I would like to say that
I was out with friends but she and I both know that's a lie because one of the perks of being quirkless is that you have no friends!

I wonder if they won't let me pass due to my lack of quirk.

The sensation of a hand on my shoulder pulled me from my thoughts.

"Don't worry about it kid. They don't have to know your quirk unless you want them to." Said his Sensei with a smile.

I gave him a small smile in return while internally cursing my self for muttering.

Midoriya Deku?

A bunch of kids there snickered at the man's slip up when reading my name.

'Seriously? Can't people just learn to read my Goddamn name correctly for once?'

With a face as red as a tomato, I walked forward towards the future.

~~~ After the test ~~~
Third POV
He really couldn't believe it. He went from a white belt to an orange belt. He skipped a belt!
Well I mean yeah, technically he didn't seeing as to how he passed the yellow belt test the same day but still he hadn't even been one for more than 2 hours before he became an Orange belt!
The next belt test was in a month. He had train even harder since time was running out.  He had only 2 more months before they got completely overwhelmed by villains.
??? POV
The red eyed individual sat at his desk in his room, twirling a pen in his hand as he contemplated the events that had just transpired.
Izuku Midoriya had just accomplished an impressive feat. However it really wasn't anything incredible given the circumstances. The boy could've easily become a black belt he searched his brain for the information that he had access to. If only he knew of it.
He sighed.
Looks like things are coming to a close quicker than he expected. The dreams were getting longer and more detailed. This wasn't good.
Opening the door to his room, he walked down the hall to find a his older brother snoring on the couch.
He flicked him on the forehead.
The larger male jolted.
"Motherf-"
"Hey!"
He glared up at the pair of red eyes
that were almost identical to his own.
"Wanna go play some laser tag?" He asked with a smirk.
The larger male got a sadistic gleam in his blood red eyes.
The red eyed boy had caught his attention but knowing his brother, it would take a little more to convince him to go, seeing as he was stubborn and probably mad at him for waking him up in such a manner.
"Why should I do anything you say you little brat?!" He snapped turning to face the couch cushions.
"I got hero plushies from last time that we can set on fire~"
His older brother glanced at him.
"I also have the super large All Might from the top of the shelf~"
Grumbling the larger male agreed.
"Fine. But why so suddenly?"
"I just felt like it." Said the younger brother, shrugging.
If time was running out he would have to make the most of what he had left. Sure his brother was a douchebag half the time but that didn't mean that they didn't get along.
God, he hoped that he could hang on until his brother's birthday at the minimum but knowing his luck, his time will probably be up before the end of the year.
'Come on,' he thought to himself. 'You just have to hang on for 2 more years. You can do it.'
