Yuki's Brother's POV

It was a nice quiet calm night in Musutafu. The sky was clear, the stars were bright, and the moon was shining.

All was well until this one guy came along. He stood in front of the door to an apartment complex.

"Oh my sweet Yuki~! I've missed you!"

He kicked the door open and unscrewed the cap to a container filled with... dust?

He took out a lighter, clicked it, and manipulated the flames into the form of chains. He wrapped them around the building, trapping everyone inside.

Things started to catch on fire. People were screaming as things began to get set alight with their only exits blocked.

"Why aren't the sprinklers and the fire alarms working?!"

"Aah!! Villain!"

"Run!"

A man poked his head out of his apartment door and into the hallway.

"Hey! What's going on?!"

His sister, Yuki screamed.

"It's him! Oh my God it's him!"

"Hey!" shouted her brother, grabbing her by the shoulders. "It's going to be okay! You need to run all right?"

"O-Ok"

"Let's go!"

He ran down the hallway, dragging his sister behind him by the hand.

He shouted "Everyone! Get to apartment 5B! The flames haven't reached there yet! We can jump into the next building through the window!"

They all crowded into the apartment.

"The window is stuck shut! I can't open it! Cried the owner of the apartment.

He ran his hands through his hair and looked for something to try and break the glass with. It would be dangerous seeing as it would be easy for people to cut themselves while jumping out the window but he didn't really have much of a choice.

Suddenly they heard someone shout.

"Everybody get back!"

They all backed away from the window. Suddenly small figure clad in black crashed through it.

Yeah... to be honest he was not expecting to have to fight a fire villain and save people from a burning building today.

He really just expected it to be a bit of an easier night. I mean, yeah he wasn't really equipped to take on the really really powerful villains but he did his best. He still hadn't mastered weapons with Sensei yet. In fact, he hadn't even started teaching him weapons. Yup! He was all self-taught thanks to HeroTube.

So when he heard the screams he had a very bad feeling in his gut. There were a lot of people screaming. There were so many that needed help. He wasn't quite sure if he could tackle whatever obstacle or villain he had to overcome in order to save everybody.

He raced over to the source of fear, panic, and pain. He was met with a large burning apartment building wrapped in flames. He scanned area, looking to see if there were any heroes or anybody there to help with the fire.

He didn't hear any heroes shouting or announcing that they were there. Nor did he hear any thunder's footsteps nor sirens to alert him that anybody was coming to save the day.

He checked his phone and looked at all the hero patrol routes. He cursed. None of them were even remotely close to the area today, at least during this time of day anyways.

While scouting out the area prior to his heroic actions he took note of all of the heroes that frequented there and the times of day that these sightings occurred.

Yeah, he was in trouble, but there were people in there that needed saving. Looks like he's flying solo again but, then again, that's how he did everything.

The boy vigilante scaled the fire escape of the building right next to the burning one and climbed onto on of the ledges.

'Welp. Time to be a hero. Am I ready for this? Probably not. Am I gonna do it anyways? Yes yes I am.'

As long as there are people to save he would not rest. He was all that they had. He was the reason it was only him.

Where were the heroes when he needed them?

Nowhere.

Because being saved wasn't a privilege that he had been given nor deserved.

After all, murderers are villains.

Heroes don't help the villains.

For if they did, they would become villains themselves.

No one wants to be a villain.

Heroes don't save villains.

And Midoriya Izuku, was a villain.

With that final thought, he took action.
