Nava

Chapter 3

"Are we ready for the attack on the weapons expo next week?" asked the deep voice on the other end of the phone "Yes sir." Replied Scarlet "Good make sure of it." the voice said followed by a click. Scarlet put her phone in her purse turning to the nearest person. "Make sure those bombs get into that building! No witnesses!" She screamed.

Scarlet stormed off. She didn't want to attack the weapons expo. She realized the benefits for their company and that it was easier to just take out everyone at once. The only thing they had to worry about was Isabella. A stupid security person working for Wolf Defenses and Arms, and an old friend. They had made two attempts at Nava's life but had been foiled by the paranoid guard both times.

This time would be different. Isabella would be taken care of this time. She sighed. Scarlet, Nava, and Isabella had once been friends until Scarlet's boss had ordered her to take care of the competition. At first, she struggled with the order until Isabella had tried to stop her. Scarlet hated people telling her not to do something and Isabella had been doing that for years. It wouldn't be a disappointment if the bossy overprotective woman died in the bombing next week.

Scarlet was slightly that disappointed she couldn't just kill her old friends, and forget about them but the bombing would do. She would get to watch the whole thing. Scarlet heard footsteps and on impulse turned invisible. She hated that. Nava and Isabella had certain gifts as well. Scarlet had used hers multiple times to spy on both the women. It was part of what made Scarlet hate them both.

Her real hate was because she was supposed to be head of security. But Nava had chosen Isabela because of her experience. Scarlet had experience but not as much as Isabella.

Multiple times she had listened to Isabell complain that she was ignorant, Irritable, and disagreeable. They had never been close friends but those secret conversations with Nava had planted a seed of hate in Scarlet.

Scarlet waited for the security guards to pass by before becoming visible again. No one knew of her abilities and she wanted to keep it that way. She smiled as she walked down the hall to her office. Even though she wasn't going to be the one to kill Isabella and Nava she couldn't wait to dance on their graves.
