Isabella stood at the door tapping her foot. This weapons expo was huge and needed a lot of planning. Nava kept showing up late to work and Isabella needed her to okay the weapons she chose. They needed at least two guns to show and Nava always showed a sword along with a small collection of matching knives.

Isabella sighed as she heard Nava's truck approaching. She started walking towards Nava's usual spot and waited for Nava to park. Nava took one look at Isabella's irritated scowl and locked the door of her truck. You could ask anyone who knew Isabella and they would swear she could kill with her glare. Isabella rolled her eyes.

"Nava! We have a lot of work to do! Come out of there now!" She yelled. Nava shook her head and smiled at Isabella. Isabella reached for her gun and aimed at Nava's door. She smiled and held up three fingers. Then brought one down. Nava unlocked the door and half jumped and half fell out of the truck. "Ow," she said after a second of laying there. Isabella chuckled as she helped Nava up. "Remind me to get a lock picking set so I don't have to waste bullets on your truck."

Nava rolled her eyes. "I don't know. Can you still open the door if you shoot it?" Isabella shrugged. "I honestly have no idea. Should we check and see? Or do you want to start working." Nava pretended to think. "Well, I love my truck and don't want you to shoot it so let's get to work." She said feigning disappointment.

Isabella held back her smile as they walked into the small showing room. Now it was Nava's turn to hold back a smile as she sat down. Of course, Isabella was here hours before preparing the weapons they had made that year. Nava would just let Isabella choose which weapons were to be put on display but Isabella would have spent hours trying to decide. Nava didn't really mind. Whichever weapons were not displayed next week would be displayed in other expos.

Isabella walked over to a big glass case with a bulky rifle. "This is our no kick rifle. Well, it does have a little kick but it won't kill your shoulder like a normal shotgun or rifle." Nava nodded "Let's put that one on show. It should be pretty popular."

Isabella nodded and moved to the next case which held a small handgun. "This is a special handgun that can shoot tranquilizer darts. You can set the target by pushing this button," she said showing Nava the button. "Then you can shoot up to 5 targets at a time." Nava smiled. She had fun making that gun. "Yes, that's the one I want in all the expos for this year please," Isabella nodded.

"Okay sounds good. Now, this last gun is only going to be sold to the army, navy, air force, etc. It is completely silent. The only sound you can hear is a slight whistling as the bullets shoot through the air." Nava nodded. "I want to wait on that one. This showing will have a lot of gang, and mob bosses. I don't think the Government would be too thrilled if we supplied them with silent guns."

Isabella made a note and pushed a button on the desk. The gun cases slid into the floor and were replaced by cases meant for holding swords and knives. Nava sat forward. She was intrigued by swords. The way they gracefully cut through the air when handled right. Nava especially loved the swords Isabella came up with.

Nava watched eagerly as Isabella removed the first sword from its case. "I call this the air ripper," Isabella said. It was a short sword with a serrated edge. She swung the sword and it made a sharp whistling noise. Nava's eyebrows rose and she nodded. Isabella moved on to the next case.

She wanted to show both of the swords she had worked on before having Nava choose. "This next sword is my personal favorite. It is a double-sided sword made of titanium and heated so it looks colorful. It is as sharp as the air ripper and just as deadly." Isabella looked at Nava who kept her face neutral.

Both the swords were beautiful. "I want to show the rainbow one." She said as if the decision was hard. Isabella beamed. "Just wait until you see the knives." The collection of knives they displayed was a pocket knife, ten throwing knives, and some kitchen knives.

Nava stood and walked to the case with the knife collection in it and gasped. "Oh, Isabella they are beautiful!" Isabella blushed and turned away. She had spent a long time getting the knives and sword perfect and wasn't ready for the praise. "Y-you really like them? Because we can always show the air ripper even though it's not as nice. But see this knife here has this spot that wasn't done right and the sword has a small knick in the blade..." Nava held up her hand. "Isabella this is the most beautiful sword I have ever seen. No one will notice a knick in the blade."

Isabella's blush deepened as she watched Nava handle the sword with admiration. She cleared her throat, grabbing Nava's attention. "Umm, I know you hate this part but we need to also talk about security." Nava winced. She hated security but it was necessary. It was surprising how many people targeted a weapons maker. Isabella had fended off two attempts on Nava's life this past year.

Isabella smiled and pulled out some blueprints. "I know, I know. Let's just finish what we've got planned for today. After this, we need to find a new dress for you to wear to the expo." Nava nodded and rolled her eyes. "Alright fine."

Isabella nodded and started talking about where police were going to be stationed and where she was going to place guards. Navas' mind wandered off as Isabella talked. Nava trusted her to take care of everything and wasn't very worried about security issues. Everything always turned out fine despite Isabella's paranoia. Nava felt like she was being watched and looked up. Isabella was staring intently at her.

"What's wrong?" she asked. Nava took a second to reply. Isabella was her best friend. Shouldn't she tell her about the nightmares? Nava sighed. "Nothings wrong Isabella, I am just thinking." she said hoping Isabella would take the bait. She did take it but not like Nava expected. "I know you're lying, but I am going to let it slide because you always end up telling me. I can wait." Nava felt a stab of guilt. She should tell Isabella the truth but she just couldn't get herself to.

Isabella stood up. "Okay, you're obviously not paying attention to me so let's go pick out your new dress for the expo." Nava stood up and forced a smile. "Okay. Everyone knows that looking at and trying on dresses is so much more enjoyable than security," she said. Isabella gasped. One of her favorite past times was looking at building security and pointing out all the flaws. Unless it was her own security.

Nava followed Isabella as she started spouting nonsense about horrible security measures. She needed to tell Isabella and Dustin about the nightmares but how?
