Nava

Chapter 21

Dustin watched Nava and Isabella from behind the glass wall. From inside the room I looked like a stone wall but from where he stood it was just glass. He shook his head and smiled. Nava and Isabella would frequently get in fights. They would argue or wrestle for a minute and then laugh it off.

After a while they both got up and left the room. "You better tell me the next time you have a date." Nava said coming into the room. Isabella rolled her eyes. "Yes mom." Nava smacked the back of her head and scowled. Isabella snickered and rubbed the back of her head.

Dustin shook his head. "You two act like toddlers" He said chuckling. Isabella grunted and walked upstairs. Nava leaned up against the wall and smiled at Dustin. He walked over and slid his arms around her waist and rested his chin on her head.

He felt Nava yawn. "Tired?" He asked. Nava nodded and Dustin smiled. "Well then let's go ask Isabella where we are sleeping." Nava nodded again and slowly trudged up the stairs. Dustin bent down and scooped her up carrying her bridal style. Nava slipped her arms around his neck and started nodding off against his chest.

Dustin reached the top of the stairs and Isabella came around the corner. She had pulled her hair into a messy bun and was brushing her teeth. She raised an eyebrow and put her hand on her hip. Dustin rolled his eyes. "Where do you want us tonight?"He asked.

Isabella motioned for him to follow her and she walked down the hall. She opened a few doors and closed them again before finally nodding and stepping aside. She smiled at him. "Sorry I had to find the guest room. All those other rooms have weapons, and reloading stuff."

Dustin grinned. "It's fine but I might need a map in order to find the kitchen." Isabella laughed. "Well i'm making pancakes and bacon for breakfast tomorrow so just follow the smell." She walked away chuckling.

Dustin went in a laid Nava on the bed. She groaned and immediately rolled onto her side. Dustin smiled and slid next to her. He wrapped his arms around her waist and drifted off to sleep.

Isabella was in the living room shuffling through papers. She could already hear Nava scolding her for staying up so late but she couldn't sleep, not right now. She rubbed her face and walked down the hall. She walked to one of the rooms and slid inside.

She walked over to one of the cases on the wall. It held a copy of the titanium swords she had designed. She walked over to the desk and started sketching. Hours later she finally couldn't keep her eyes open any longer. Setting her alarm she climbed into bed.
