Chapter 11

Nava woke up the next morning and got dressed. She looked at Dustin's sleeping form. Suddenly she realized that for the first time in weeks she had slept the entire night without a night mare. Nava smiled at the wall and spun on her heel.

"Dustin! Wake up!" She giggled jumping onto the bed. "What? What's going on? He asked, slurring his words with exhaustion. Nava giggled again and tickled his sides. "I didn't have a nightmare last night!" Nava said, her voice thrilled.

Dustin pulled her hands off his sides giving her a slight glare. "That's great now please let me sleep without tickling me to death." Nava laughed. "Sorry but it's time for you to get up as well." she said tickling his sides again.

Dustin grabbed her arm pinning them to her sides and flipped her over. Nava smirked as she looked lovingly into Dustin's eyes. Dustin grinned. "Let me get dressed and we can go see if anything interesting happened to Isabella last night." He said Nava smiled and stood up.

"I'm going to go get some juice." She said leaving the room. When she got to the kitchen she looked out the window. She could barely see Isabella's car hidden in the trees. Nava pulled out her phone and called Isabella.

Nava frowned when there was no answer. "Hey Dustin," she called "Yeah babe?" he called back. Nava looked back out at Isabellas car. "Would you come with me to check on Isabella? I tried to call her but didn't get an answer." She said as he walked into the kitchen.

Dustin frowned "Umm. Okay, but are you sure her phone didn't die or something? She could be sleeping." he said Nava looked back out the window. "No Isabellas is too careful to let her phone die. She would keep it alive in case we needed to call her." Nava said, looking back out at Isabellas car. Dustin sighed. "Okay well she might have fallen asleep." He said walking to the fridge and grabbing the milk.

Nava shut the fridge. "No even if she had been up all night, everynight for the past week or more, she would still stay awake. Somethings wrong," Nava said, a horrible feeling growing in her gut. She turned not waiting for Dustin to say anything and headed to the front door. Double checking her hip holster for her hand gun.

Nava opened the door ready for anything. Anything but Isabella passed out on the ground five feet away from Navas door. "Dustin! Call an ambulance quickly!" She shouted sliding to the ground next to Isabella. "Oh Isabella please wake up! Please please please!" She said carefully shaking Isabella's arm

Dustin came outside and knelt beside Nava. "The ambulance is on its way," he said, holding her to his chest. Nava's sobs shook her body. Dustin reached down and checked Isabella's pulse. Her hand was freezing.

Nava wouldn't leave Isabella's side. "Isabella I'm so sorry. Please wake up I don't know what to do without you." she sobbed into Dustin's chest as the ambulance arrived. Dustin had to hold her back from chasing after them.

"Nava!" He yelled, grabbing her shoulders. Nava looked at him frantically. "Please Dustin I can't let her go." She said Dustin nodded and picked Nava up and carried her to his truck. He set her on her feet and she ran to the passenger side and climbed in.

Dusitn looked over at Nava. "She will be okay I promise." He said putting the vehicle into drive. Nava closed her eyes and prayed.
