"Isabella do you have to be so paranoid?" asked Nava. Nava had shown up to work with Isabella looking Irritated and tapping her foot. That was normal. What wasn't normal was Isabella handing Nava a bullet proof vest and dragging her thirty feet to the building. "I'm sorry, but we just got a threat letter from one of those peace groups. Normally I'd be fine but with everything else going on." Isabella shrugged as if to say 'sorry not sorry'.

Nava sighed. "I guess I should be used to it." Isabella smiled apologetically. "I'm going to keep a security detail nearby. I know you hate it but they're only going to make sure you're safe," she said, wrapping her arm around Navas shoulders. Nava looked at Isabella "Why can't you stick with me?" she asked.

As much as she hated someone tailing her all day she'd rather have Isabella than someone she didn't know.

"I have some things to work on for the expo but I will be steaking out your house tonight. Besides I only put people I trust on your security detail. Everything will be fine I promise." Isabella said. "I also wanted to talk to you about the expo," she said hesitantly. Isabella knew how large this expo was and was well aware Nava would hate this idea. "I think we shouldn't go to the expo, we won't tell anyone we're not going." Nava looked at Isabella like she was crazy. "But why?" she asked ridiculously.

Isabella sighed. "I just have a bad feeling about it. I know this is a huge expo but I dont feel good about going. I really could just be paranoid but I would appreciate if you would trust me," Isabella paused and looked at the floor almost as if she was in shame. "The truth is I'm scared. Scarlet is powerful and is probably the one person who could get past my defences. I mean I taught her almost everything she knows and I dont want to see you get hurt. Please just trust me."

Nava looked at Isabella stunned into silence. Isabella never admitted weakness before so to suddenly have her admit she was scared was huge. Nava put her hand on Isabella's shoulder. "Okay, I trust you. I should have trusted you right away, considering you're usually right about these things," she said. Isabella looked up. "Thank you, and I really am sorry I know you wanted to go to the expo." Nava sighed. "It's fine, now who do you have on my security detail for today?"

Isabella smiled. "I only have three people who will trade off following you today," she said as they rounded the corner. "Alex, Jonsey, and Arkin. Alex is waiting for you by your office and he will stick with you until ten when Jonsey will replace him. At noon it's Arkins' turn. They will switch off every two hours in that pattern until you go home then it's my turn."

When they got to Navas office Alex was on the phone with someone. "Alex! Quit slackin off and pay attention!" Yelled Isabella. Nava smiled as she recognized her friend slipping into 'work mode'. "Sorry i gotta go, love ya, bye." Said Alex as they got closer.

Isabella playfully smacked him upside the head. "How many times am I going to have to tell you no phone calls at work? You precious girlfriend can wait." Alex grinned and rolled his eyes. "But this job is so boring, I just stand around all day." he said. Isabella shook her head. "That can be a good thing." she said

Alex cocked a hip. "I'm just saying this job would be one hundred percent better if something would blow up," He raised his hands defensively. "Just sayin," Isabella pushed him aside. "What in the world am I going to do with you?" she asked.
