Okay. There are a lot of bad ideas floating around today. For instance, bad idea one- Water fight in freezing cold. Bad idea two-Throwing Lou into the pool while it was snowing (Why does this place even HAVE a pool. It's England.). Bad point number three- Deciding to all jump in after him, oh and did I mention that it is nine o'clock at night, I got home from work at eight. It is not one of our smartest days is it. Now we were all once again huddled in the loungeroom with hot chocolate and Barbie princess charm school on the TV (I love when I get to pick the movie.).

I shuffled over to my mum, not trying to draw to much attention and whispered in her ear "I need to talk to you again mummy." She nodded and pointed to the hall way.

"Be back in a sec guis" I announced as I dragged mum to my room.

Granted, me and mum had talked a lot and mucked around a lot this past week but she was leaving tommorrow and I needed an answer. As soon as we stepped through the door I burst.

"Where is dad." I blurted out.

"Um... he's working Rora. I told you that before." she started fiddling with her long dark hair and sat down on the bed. My mum was pretty good looking for an old lady. She was a whole 38 years old (Her and dad got married young) I took after her mainly in the looks repayment. I got her long curly dark hair and her kind round face, just not her deep brown eyes. Buy I wasn't nearly as pretty as she was when she was younger. I loved my mum. I really did, but we were never the closest of friends. We were always laughing and talking and goofing around but I would always skirt around all the serious stuff. Like I never really told get about the bullying in highschool. I only told her enough so that she understood why I wasn't talking to the people who had been my closest friends for five years. So it was weird bringing up a subject that I wouldn't let her laugh off.

"Mum. You're gong to have to tell me sooner or later." She dropped the piece of hair and looked me in the eyes.

"I wasn't going to tell you until we left. But your dad lost his job. Were going to have to sell the house and a heap of our stuff that's lying around. Your father is currently searching for a job and trying to put together the whole house thing and find us some extra cash. It's just lucky we had already paid for our tickets and stuff or we wouldn't have been able to come." she awkwardly trailed off and diverted her gaze to the fluffy carpeted floor.

I was speechless. All my life we had had it pretty good. A nice family, a nice house and car, a father with a great job that kept us running. I never expected this to happen.

"mum. I am so sorry." I squeaked out. I leant over and wrapped her in a hug. This Is going to take some getting used to.

Harrys POV

The movie had ended ages ago but for some reason I was still up. Why the hell am I still up! Twitter is boring at this time of night and I don't want to risk putting on a movie and waking everyone up. So I just sat there staring vacantly at my phone.

Nah this is still boring. I might as well make a bowl of coco pops. I scuttled into the kitchen, I had pulled out the bowl and milk when I heard something. A small something, coming from outside. I tiptoed over to the window and Peeked outside.

Rory?

Why was rory outside. Especially on a night like this.

She was curled up in a fetal position on the edge of the back verandah.

As the door squeaked open her head snapped in my direction.

"It's just me Rory bear. It's just me." I whispered reassuringly.

I walked over and sat down beside her. My feet already numbing from the cold snow.

"What's wrong Rora" I slung my arm over her shaking shoulders.
