*double update surprise!*
"So, you fight your uncle alongside Balgay's heathen dog Kongar, eh?"
Goktug clenched his jaw at Dundar's stinging words as he helped his brother restrain Osman's struggling uncle. He knew he had to keep his true identity secret, but he was longing to grab Dundar by his throat and tell him by snarling in his face that he was no longer a Mongol, as it deeply stung to be associated with them. But he couldn't, so he just had to bear it. He looked over to Osman Bey, who nodded in his direction and walked over to them. They had successfully ambushed and outnumbered Dundar's family on their way to Alisar's mansion, where Aygul Hatun was to marry Alisar. Osman was dead set on putting the marriage to a halt, as he knew what trouble it would bring for his cousin to marry the corrupt Bey. Dundar's Alps surrendered almost immediately when they appeared, which forced Dundar, Aygul and Zohre to do the same. Dundar and Zohre were furious; it was difficult enough for them to leave the tribe despite Gunduz's attempt to keep them secure after Dundar revealed himself to be alive after Osman was accused of killing him. He and his family wouldn't stop spewing hatred and poison around the tribe, and their tiresome attitude and activities were one of the main reasons Melike chose to spend more time with Goktug(when he was Kongar) rather than to stay at the tribe.
Melike and Sumeyye were dealing with Aygul, who looked as if she longed to bite their heads off. "Is this really how you treat your friends?" she snapped as Melike tied her hands tightly and securely. "Some honorable people you are." "Indeed, and I find it honorable of you to carelessly marry a man you know to be vile and corrupt, just to get revenge for your unrequited love," snarled Sumeyye. Melike stayed quiet despite Aygul's taunts and jeers, and snuck a glance at Goktug as he dealt with Dundar. She couldn't help but stare at him for a while, admitting to herself that he was extremely attractive when he was ready to fight. His sharp jaw was set, his powerful muscles visibly tensed up and his icy eyes full of angst. She was jolted out of her daydream when his eyes met hers, and they stared at each other for a while. The angst and fierceness in Goktug's eyes disappeared for a second and was replaced with hurt and longing as he looked at her, and she immediately turned away, unable to look at him any longer as she gulped down her emotions.
"Huh, so it's true then? You've eloped with that Mongol dog," snickered Aygul as she noticed the quick glance exchange between Goktug and Melike. "Burcin told me she overheard Bala and Sumeyye discussing something of the sort with Selcan Hatun. I'm not surprised, a dishonest whore like you would indeed choose our enemy as a love interest over our brave and true Alps and Beys...the ones that don't follow Osman anyway." Burcin Hatun was Aygul's best friend, and was just as cunning and tiresome as she was. She loved to start dangerous and painful gossip that would affect people greatly, and she made it clear that she was on Dundar and his family's side. Being Bamsi Bey's adopted daughter, Melike had honestly expected better of her, but Burcin wasn't what was on her mind at that moment. Her grip on Aygul's restraints tightened, turning her knuckles white as she clenched her jaw, anger burning up inside of her like inferno at her painful words. But she refused to let it show, and kept her dangerous silence, swallowing down any emotions and leaving her face expressionless. Sumeyye, on the other hand, let out a gasp of fury and grabbed Aygul by the collar. "Spit any more poison and I will tear out your tongue and teeth with my own hands," she growled. "Leave her alone, you bitch!" screamed Zohre as Boran dragged her away to a cart. Sumeyye took no notice and drew out her dagger, tracing it across Aygul's throat. Aygul however, though the fear was evident in her eyes, did nothing to protest.
"Sumeyye, enough," said Melike sternly. Sumeyye nodded at her, and poked Aygul in the collarbone with her dagger gently, but threateningly, the sharpness of the dagger causing a seep of blood to escape. "I warned you," she said in a dangerously quiet voice. Aygul sneered and Sumeyye dragged her away to join her mother in the cart. Melike sighed, and wiped her hands together as her brother walked up to her. "You alright, Bacim?" he asked. "I'm fine," she said, and brushed him off. Goktug did everything he could to keep focused on his job and not look at her, especially after seeing the way she just pried her eyes from his. "You're not going to die that easily," growled Osman to his uncle, who was in Konur and Goktug's grip. "You need to be punished first." Melike and Boran walked over, and identical smirks appeared on their faces at the half-angered, half-terrified look on Dundar's face. "Bring him to the cart," Osman ordered and Goktug grabbed Dundar by his shirt, forcing him along with him. "Alisar will come soon! You will feel his wrath!" snarled Dundar. "What will you do then?" Goktug rolled his eyes at Dundar's struggle, although he found it quite easy to hold onto him. "He won't have to worry," said Osman. "I won't touch you. However, Zohre Hatun worked with our enemies. My brother found her worthy of getting exiled, but I will take her life whilst I glare into your eyes."
