Yasak - Forbidden (A Goktug Alp/Kongar Love Story)

Plagiarism

Salam Everyone!

I hope to leave this off on a happy note, 

but I have noticed throughout these past weeks, since I uploaded the Epilogue of 'Yasak' that some people throughout Social Meds and WattPad itself have plagiarized this story without giving credits or citations, and frankly I do NOT appreciate it.

I won't mention anyone or any names, but I do ask to please either change what you wrote that is similar to mine or take it down, especially the ones which have the EXACT same text(some have even copy-pasted).

I am very grateful and appreciative that you all love my story, thank you so much, but it doesn't exactly sit well with me that there are people copying my work.

Of course, this is a FanFiction based on the Kurulus Osman series, yet I put a lot of effort and heavy thinking, exercising my imagination to write this story so I could fit Melike and Goktug's story into it, and Alhamdulillah it paid off. And it isn't exactly courteous that some are plagiarizing my work, even if some things are changed like names or titles.

Honestly, I wasn't expecting plagiarism actually but I have taken notice to similar WattPad FanFics of Kurulus Osman and Dirilis Ertugrul(and even other fandoms) or posts on Insta that I recognize my story in, and I know that it isn't purely coincidence because the plagiarized stories were posted way after I published a large chunk of this book which I believed I began in May 2020 (correct me pls if I'm wrong). I suppose as a writer I should have spoken about plagiarism before finishing this book, as I am familiar with other writers who have been plagiarized.

So to end off, and this goes for every book and piece of literature/creative writing that I shall publish in the future,

Please do not plagiarize my work. 

I am touched if you are inspired by my stories, and I will allow for you to DM me privately and ask if you could take some ideas from my stories, but you will be limited and will have to give credits/citations for it. 

As an Author, I enjoy writing for you all, but please do have a little appreciation for the effort I put in for you :")

PS: Sorry if I sound stern or mean, I do get rather hurt and annoyed by those who plagiarize my work whether it's writing  stories, essays and even poems or not(it happens in school too *sighs*).
