"Hey Logan! Aren't you up a bit late?" I asked when I entered our dorm, seeing my roommate reading his book, Insurgent.

"Not really. It isn't ten yet, and that's my going to bed time..."

"Logan, it's..." I took out my phone to see the hour, "10:42."

"What!?" Logan put his book aside and jumped to look for his phone, "Fuck! Goodnight Roman!" He stormed to his room and closed the door shut.

Logan's attitude intrigued me a lot. He was like an emotionless robot most of the time, but sometimes he just- bursted up. It was something curious. I wondered what was going on in his head, and what exactly triggered that anger.

---

The next day I woke up a bit late. When I came to the living room I saw that Logan was already there. He had a cup of coffee in his hand, and a plate with a toast with some jam in next to him.

I grabbed my own cup and poured milk. I didn't like the taste of coffee. Then, I looked in the cupboard for my muffins. I graved two and sat in front of Logan.

"What was into you yesterday, Logan? You looked very upset by going to bed a bit late," I commented, taking a bite into the first muffin.

"Yes. I have a very strict sleeping schedule. I don't like disturbing it, but I was a bit irrational last night. I'm sorry that I acted like that," He said, putting his cup down, "Why were you late?  You usually come back around nine thirty, ten as very late."

"Oh, there was a..." How to explain it? Virgil was quiet and didn't like to talk about himself. If I told Logan, would Virgil get mad at me? Logan was also his friend, and Lo wasn't the gossip kind of guy, so I don't think that he'll tell anyone, so there shouldn't be any problem, but still... "A little incident at Patton's and Virgil's place. Something happened earlier in the starbucks..."

"Oh, yeah, it's true. Virgil was very upset," He knew? Had Patton or Virgil told him? No, they surely hadn't, so the only option left...

"Wait, you were there?" I asked.

"Yes. Virgil asked me help to study literature, so we went to the starbucks to study. But then, Janus, my boyfriend, came, and Virgil had an anxiety attack. He immediately left, and he didn't look very well, but I decided that I shouldn't follow him. I didn't want to bother."

I stopped eating my muffin and I slowly placed it in the table, with the other one. I couldn't believe the information I had been gifted with.

"Wait, wait. So you are the one dating Janus?"

"Yes. Do you know him?" Logan wondered.

"No, not really. It's just...Virgil talked about him yesterday. And I didn't know you were dating anyone. I couldn't imagine you with a boyfriend..."

"Well, in fact I am dating someone. I don't find it that surprising, Roman," He stated angryly.

"Ok, sorry, I didn't mean to offend you. Do you mind if I go...?"

"No, why would I mind? But if you aren't going to finish your food, you could at least put it away."

"Oh, no, I'm going to eat it. I just have to do something important that I forgot about,"

"Ok."

Logan continued to eat his toast and picked his phone again. With the corner of my eye I saw that he was looking at the news. I ran to my room and got my own phone. I scrolled through my contacts until I found the one I was looking for. I clicked the green bouton.

"Roman? Why did you call for?"

"Patton! Good morning! Did I wake you?" I asked.

"Oh, no, I've been away for about an hour now. But Virgil hasn't come out of his room yet. I think that he's still asleep. What do you want?"

"So, you know what happened yesterday? The whole Janus and Virgil incident?" I asked, as I walked arround in my room.

"Of course. It was yesterday. How would I forget...?"

"Well, I have some news! I know who is Virgil's crush," I asked, throwing myself into my bed.

"What!?" Patton exclaimed. I could almost hear him jump, "How did you find out? Did Virgil tell you?"

"Nope. Is that I found out that certain person is dating someone called Janus and casually whent with Virge yesterday to the starbucks to study."

"Well? Tell me! Who is it?"

"Logan," Patton didn't say a thing, but I could almost hear the gears in his brain clicking.

"No way... Seriously? Wow. Logan is dating someone?"

"Yes, I know! I couldn't believe it either when he told me!"

The next twenty minutes were basically us two gossiping. Patton was a great gossiping friend. He was able to listen and talk at the same time.

"Wait. I think I head Virgil. I'm going to check on him. Can we talk later?" Patton asked, lowering his voice.

"Oh, of course, sure, we'll talk later," Patton hung up and I went to the kitchen again to finish my breakfast. Logan was nowhere to be seen.
