Slater didn't let go. He's still holding my hand as we neared the shore.

Naamoy ko na ang tubig dagat kahit palapit pa lang kami. The sun is not yet totally settled down, there's still a hint of orange and red on the sky. Making the sky look golden and mesmerizing.

Malakas ang bawat tunog ng musika sa dinaanan namin. The band is singing a good old love song but I was too occupied to even appreciate that since I was still feeling like I'm walking in a cloud nine with Slater walking me gently to the shore.

"Wh-where are we..."

Hindi ko na natuloy ang tanong nang bigla kaming tumigil.

We both stopped and face the the whole sea. I was starting to feel overwhelm with the feelings until the sun is just literally after my eyes, setting on his own, nasa gitna na siya. Tila nag-aagaw ang kalahating katawan paloob sa ilalim ng dagat. Habang kumikinang ang kulay nito sa kabuoan ng dagat.

My jaw dropped on how astonish it is to watch something like this in my life. 

Nilingon ako ni Slater na ngayon ay may ngiti na sa mukha. His five o'clock silhouette behind the setting sun on the sea brings an unfamiliar sight of him.

"I want you to see how beautiful it is to witness a sunset just right after the sea." He watched me intently, almost making me weak with my mixed feelings.

"You like natures. This might help you to admire it more with this view," He said before turning to the view.

Pinagmasdan niya iyon.

I curled my toes on my slippers as I felt a hollow thing on my chest. It was something I couldn't explain as it continues to draw an unfamiliar emotions.

"I am happy," Slater suddenly confessed.

He's still holding my hand. Every strands of our fingers are twirled together while his hold is tightening every second. Pinipisil niya ang kamay ko bawat tapos ng pagsasalita niya.

"You're like those beautiful nature. Maganda kahit hindi pinagtutuonan ng pansin... Na mas gumaganda lang lalo kapag ikaw lang ang gustong pansinin."

There's this again. The hollow feeling on my chest.

"Did you know..." He turned to me. Eyes were piercing through me.

"I always picture you in this kind of scenery." ngumiti siya bigla sabay iling. Later on he slowly looked at me, slightly having a hope in his eyes.

"Maybe your friend, Rigo, was right."

Sa kalagitnaan ng pagsasalita niya kumunot ang noo ko sa huli niyang sinabi.

"Maybe if my mom friends with yours I might introduce to you as your fiance." He laughed without humor.

"Maybe if my mom was given a chance... I was the one celebrating your birthday as your fiance while we are walking in the shore, holding hands... Giving you a tight hug when you felt so down. Making you blush coz your cheeks turns so red and it's cute."

Malamig dahil wala ng araw. The wind coming from the sea and the rolling waves is all I hear than Slater's calming voice. He licked his lower lip as he attracted the view in front of us to be more memorable with his big frame.
