Chapter 4
Since the day I was drugged, hindi na ako pinapaalis ng bahay without any supervisions. My Mom was just being protective. While on the other hand, my Dad was pure evil with his intentions of keeping me locked inside the house. Little did they know na kapag ang isang tao ay nasasakal o nasu-suffocate sa isang sitwasyon, they tend to do bad stuff and those aren't quite beneficial for the person.
Nakakasama. Nakakakitil ng buhay.
It can lead them to death if it keeps being pursued. Just because of my little incapability to hear, ang dami nang naging hadlang para maging normal. Yes, they want me to be normal but is it enough? O pinapakita lang nila 'yon kasi they need to be comforting? But this is life, we just gotta live with it.
But I've seen people live a normal life having this kind of disability. They are happy, going to work like communication won't be a problem. Kapag minamalas-malas nga talaga ako. I was kept under the shell of being the person who I am today. They put limitations and so I didn't grow.
I sighed and was already exhausted by the human interaction.
"Sila?" I asked at tinanguan niya lang ako.
She excused herself and then I headed out of my room to go to the living area where I found my parents talking to someone.
She's not familiar to me though. I haven't seen her before.
So I'm the center of attention again? In what case now?
Ngiti ang binati ni Mommy sa akin. Dad has his usual blank face but I can tell he has something to do with this. I'm sure this isn't about the business that we're going to talk about. So might as well, never hope for it again.
My mom pointed her ear, trying to signal me if I was wearing my device and I nodded.
"So, here's Malachi, my son," Mom reached out to me when I got closer to her. Pumalibot ang kamay niya sa braso ko. What are they doing?
