:9: After School

Marley and Santana met up with Brittany and Kitty at breadstix after school. They sat in a booth together and ordered there food before they got to talking about the Glee Club. Brittany wanted to come in and teach them some cool new dance moves she'd thought of and both Marley and Kitty loved that idea. Santana just smiled at her wide lovingly and held her hand while they all talked.

"Them boys are gonna be trouble again this year" Kitty warned while shaking her head. Her signature ponytail shook back and forth as she did. "We won't let them be" Santana replies looking at Marley for her opinion. Marley just smiles softly her usual calm friendly self. She knew what this year was about and it wasn't dating. "I don't mind being friends with them. I just don't want any dating. This year isn't about the boys or the drama it's about experiencing as much as I can musically. It's about the contests and the fun of it all. I just want to focus on having a great senior year with all of my friends" Marley says firmly but she's still got a smile on her face. She knew what she wanted and she was going to just have an amazing year surrounded by people she loves as friends.

Kitty smiles softly "I still think they'll try. Chances are they'll sing to you Marley for this week's lesson. It's who they are determined boys. There like dogs with a bone" She says softly drinking her water. Marley shrugs a little "Let them sing to there hearts content. But I'm not dating them" Marley is determined with the way she speaks and Kitty just side hugs her unsure if she'll actually be able to resist them or not. After what she had with Jake she was worried Marley might fall again because she knew how smooth Jake could be. But Ryder was sweet that could draw Marley in too..

Kitty shares a look with Santana a silent agreement to keep those boys in check this year because neither of them wanted to see her hurt again. This was gonna be there year and they wanted to have fun too, but Santana wanted to make sure Marley was happy and safe. She didn't need Marley to spin again and if those boys caused that to happen she wouldn't be very kind to them.

They spoke about what they wanted for the year while they ate switching off the topic of boys for a while. Marley wanted some solos again but she also wanted to hit some duets with Kitty. At the end Santana paid for the bill and drove the girls home before her and Britt returned where they had been staying with Britt's parents for now.

Santana sits on the bed taking her shoes off and Brittany sits behind her hugging her and pressing a soft kiss to her cheek. "You're still worries aren't you?" Britt asks knowing Santana better then anyone else. Santana nods with a faint sigh "Marley is still that sweet girl. Yes I know she's stronger now more determined... But those boys are her weakness and I know they'll find a way beneath her skin. I just have to make sure I prevent it" Santana explains leaning back to kiss Britt softly.

Britt smiles and rubs Santana's cheek talking against her lips. "You'll figure it out Santana you always do" She coos this softly soothing her beautiful wife and drawing her in for another soft kiss pulling her mind away from the current situation and getting her to relax.

Back at home Marley was telling her mom about her first day back. And her mom held the same thoughts that Santana did about those boys. She gave a gentle warning, but she didn't push the subject not wanting to upset Marley. She knew Santana watched over her while she had to work and she knew Marley was in good hands. She wanted her daughter to be happy and being back seemed to do this. They'd handle everything else as it came, but right now her mother felt pure pride with how her daughter was handling things..
