"Over the last two weeks in Uinta County in Wyoming there have been 4 teens found hanging in their room on Friday. They committed at the same time, and in the same way in the span of 2 weeks."
I started taking notes, but I saw that I was the only one who does so I try to take them discreetly as possible.
"So these are suicides? Why would we investigate suicides?"
Said Morgan. I was confused too, also what does this have to do with Benjamin? Why am I here?
"Because these kids weren't at risk. These kids were top-notch teens always involved in sports or academics. These kids didn't have a history of any violence or mental illnesses. Whether or not it is a suicide it is very concerning."
Said Hotchner. Morgan then looked at me and saw that I was confused and I was quickly writing the notes down. Hotchner saw this too and continued on,
"These are internet-generation kids. So we suspect that it must be internet-based somehow, which is why Penelope will be joining us."
"Sir I don't think how I can be much help, I-"
He interrupted her and said,
"You can help plenty once we get there and access to the victim's personal computers, there you will trace for any data or any clues."
I looked over at Garcia, and she had a concerned upset face. I felt terrible that they had to go through the victim's personal items. Agent Hotchner then gave a signal like asking for clarification and I raised my hand and spoke.
"What does this have to do with me? No offense, I just don't see a reason for me to be here if the kids weren't suffering from well in this situation anything."
"We need you because we have a kid that the station interviewed while taking statements from the students. They told us he didn't seem to be bothered by the situation and said rude remarks towards the victims. He has mental issues and dresses in a gothic way. After looking into more of his history, he had none basically. The only thing we could find is that he was one of your patients a couple of years back."
Jareau then pointed to a part of the file. I then took Benjamin's file out of my bag and laid it out and started comparing.
"What's that Molly?"
Said Hotchner, I then showed him the file and we both started scanning it. We passed it around until it reached back to me and I explained.
"This is Benjamin Menrow's file. He was a patient of mine back when I lived in Wyoming about 2 years ago. His mom had just passed away when we met back when he was entering high school, I had been his therapist for a year before he stopped showing up. He never wore goth before, he was an average looking kid. At the time he was one of my more "at-risk" patients so I stuck around long before I had to move again. I wrote him a letter but I have no idea how he's doing."
Then Dr.Reid spoke up.
"That could be his stressor."
"But it wouldn't make much sense, why wait all these years to act on it?"
I spoke, he seemed annoyed with my questions but I didn't care. Morgan then spoke up.
"He could've changed when he stopped showing up. "
"Whatever the case is, we need to bring in Benjamin Menrow. Wheels up in 20. May I speak with you, Molly?
I nodded and everyone stood up and left the room. I then grabbed my things and walked over to him.
