I suck at updating, I know.

This is important though.

Voting records are public knowledge in the U.S.  Citizens cannot just get a hold of them though.  Parties can request them and use them for information.  There are apps that typically are used for searching your contacts by phone number (which is attached to voter registration) that brings up their party affiliation as well as voting history (when they voted, not how they voted).

I discovered that if you attempt to "search" one of your unidentified contacts, you can change the name to literally anyone, select an age range and a state and you get their voting information as well.

According to VoteJoe and OutVote, Colleen Ballinger, registered in Santa Barbara, California (her home town) is a registered Democrat but did not vote until 2018.

Let's rewind and talk about why this is a big deal.

In 2016, she stood in the hallway of a hotel and said in a vlog, "I voted for Hillary."

The next day, she cried about the results of the election.

She has spent four years complaining about an administration that she seemingly did nothing to stop.

She recently has taken interest in moving to Canada because of tRump.

Two days ago, she said though she hasn't always been into politics, she has "always voted" because of the women who fought so hard for her to have that right.

Granted, these databases may be off.  But from the people I know the status of, they are not.

And this isn't just Colleen.  There is a similar trend in her whole bubble.

Erik voted in 2016 but that was his first time casting a ballot.  He is also a registered Democrat.

Kory is a registered Dem too but, get ready for it, he has never once voted.

Rachel, a registered Dem, voted for the first time in 2016.  This is true.  She was upfront about this I do recall.  She voted against trump, we saw her sticker, we saw her drive to Santa Barbara to vote.  But she said it was her first time.

I could not totally nail down Chris and Jess because there are multiple Christopher and Jessica Ballingers registered in the state of California.  I do not know exactly what county they live in.  However, there is only one overlapping result, each having one in Camarillo, CA.  If that's them, Christopher is not affiliated with a party but he voted in 2008 and 2012.  Jessica is a registered Democrat but she has never voted.

I am honestly floored.  This is a huge blatant lie on Colleen's part, provided this information is accurate.  Erik, Kory, Chris, nor Jess have ever made comments on their voting history.  Colleen, though, talks about it as if she's actually ever been invested.  Voting is easy.  It doesn't take that long.  And your vote does count.  Colleen preaches that along with her pity parties ("Aww, this president sucks") which he does but people who are of age and chose not to vote do not get to complain.  Period.  I've seen people call her a liar before.  This might just convince me.
