A/N Eeekkkk! I can't believe I'm publishing this! Sorry it's been so long, this has actually been written for quite a while, but I was so nervous to post this and idek why. Well, there's no going back after this! Here ya go!

-November 5th 2019-
Colleen's POV
     "Erik!!"
"I'm right here baby!" He shouts from down the stairs at the kitchen counter.
"They're like 10 minutes apart now," I say, wincing in pain at the top of the stairs.
He drops everything he was getting ready and comes to my side to hold me until the contraction's over.  Then he helps me down the stairs.
"Are we gonna go have a baby?" He asks me, laughing nervously.
"Oh my god, it hurts so bad!" I shout.
I think he takes that as a yes.  Within 10 minutes, we are in the car and making phone calls like no other.  Everyone's been on red alert because I'm almost 38 weeks and most twins are born around 35 weeks.  I call Rachel while Erik talks to my doctor while driving.  Our conversation goes like this:
C: "hey.  I think I'm in labor.  Can you meet us at the hospital?"
R: "yeah. I'm leaving now."
C: "thanks. See you soon. Love you."
R: "love you too."
I love how Rachel and I had such a calm conversation about something that most would see as absolutely crazy.
"I feel so sick!" I whine.
"If you throw up in this car, I'm not gonna have time to clean it."
"I won't."
"But really, are you okay, lovey?"
I just nod.  "I'm sorry," he says, putting his hand on my thigh.
Luckily, our doctor is ready and not you know, on a family cruise or hosting his three year olds birthday party.
We alert my parents and Chris and Jess who are leaving Santa Barbra now to meet us in LA. Everything seems in order, and I'm trying to stay calm even though I'm internally having a panic attack. I can tell Erik's really nervous too. Neither of us have done this before, and the factor of multiples is really freaking me out.
I've already been told I have to deliver in the operating room.  With multiples, there is a risk of an emergency C-section.  Plus, the hospital we're at has larger ORs, allowing enough space for a medical team for each baby.  I will be in a labor and delivery room until I dilate to a 10, and for all of recovery.  This limits the number of people allowed in during the actual delivery.  Erik will obviously be there, and Rachel will be there with a camera.  Jess probably would've been a better choice since she's actually given birth, but I really want Rachel to be there.  She's been through everything with me, and honestly, I'm most comfortable around her.  Plus Jess would be coming from Santa Barbra which is much further, creating a la inevitable possibility of missing the birth. It's 3 PM now, so luckily traffic isn't really an issue.
When we get to the hospital, Erik carries all our crap (let's be real, mostly mine) through the parking garage. "Let's go have a baby." he says, very evidently trying to be calm. I waddle along, feeling stronger contractions around 8 minutes apart.
We're sent by hospital staff to the maternity ward and admitted to a labor and delivery room.

Rachel's POV
I get to the hospital as fast as I can, which happens to be only about 15 minutes after Colleen and Erik. However, I call Erik when I get to the parking lot, and he says they're already admitted. I get to the maternity ward and find Colleen's room. She's laying in her bed, wearing a fashion hospital gown, vlogging, looking like a frickin queen. I am not surprised in the slightest.
When she sees me, she turns the camera off, and reaches her arms out. I throw my crap on the couch and hug her. "Hey," I say, "how far along are you?"
"When she checked as soon as we got here, I was at a 4 already. However, some women with twins go their last 3 weeks at a 4. My contractions hurt like a mother effer and are like 6 minutes apart."
"Did the baby turn?" I ask.
"No." She says, "They still wanna do a vaginal birth. That's extremely common as long as the first baby is head down. It's sometimes better for the second baby to be breech because if it wasn't, two heads pressing against your cervix is not ideal. When baby A is out, they'll try to turn B."
"I'm sorry," I say, playing with her hair. I know the pain's only gonna get worse, but she doesn't need her feelings to be invalidated. "What needs to be done?"
"I think I called everyone," she says, "except Katie Leblanc, which I want you to do."
"Sure."
I get on the phone with Katie and say "hello?"
She answers, "yeah? Rachel? I'm driving and talking on Bluetooth; two kids in the car just so you know."
I laugh.
R: "okay, I'm gonna put you on speaker phone for a minute, Colleen wants to tell you something."
C: "I'm in labor!"
K: "yay! How are you feeling?"
C: "like not one, but two demons are repeatedly stabbing my uterus from the inside and trying to literally escape through my stomach."
K: "are you gonna get an epidural?"
C: "uh...yeah...that's not even a question. Twins, Katie! Twins!"
K: "yeah, I know. Well, I better let you go. You sound really great. Good luck, we'll all be thinking of you!"
C: "thanks," weakly.
Erik: *letting Colleen squeeze his hand* "she's having a contraction!"
I turn speaker off and step into the hallway for a minute. Still talking to Katie, "I'll keep you updated via text message. A few things she didn't say but your probably wondering--they've been here for about a half hour, she's four centimeters dilated, they're gonna break her water at 5 cm, contractions are six minutes apart, and baby B is still breech.  They're gonna try to flip the second one after the first is born."
K: "thanks, Rachel.  Have they talked about any risks?  Is there C-Section possibility?"
R: "Colleen's blood pressure, heart rate, and temperature all look good right now.  Even if baby number 2 is still breech, they may try to deliver it.  She's delivering in the operating room which is protocol for multiples.  If anything does happen to her or the babies, they'll do an emergency c-section.  Are you excited, girls?"
A&H: "yeah!"
R: "good.  Well, I better go.  Someone will keep you guys updated.  Probably my brother."
K: "thanks, Rach.  Good luck to Colleen...and you and Erik.  Trust me, you two will need it.  I just about killer Billy every time."
R: "thanks.  Bye bye!"
