Telling Everyone

Colleen's POV
The next morning we walk into my parents house. Rachel made up some BS about why everyone had to be there. I don't even have a clue what she said.
Bailey, Jacob, Parker, and Duncan are immediately swarming around me. I love it. Erik and I stopped at Target on our way here to pick up creative ways to tell everyone.
At target we got two shirts; they both say "We're Pregnant!" Mine is white with black script lettering and Erik's is black with white block lettering.
We take off our sweatshirts that we wore just to cover the shirts while we came in.  I very obviously set a camera down where I know it can see everyone.  It's not uncommon for me to film stuff to speed up for a vlog in here.  Erik and I both try to just act natural and walk around the room, continuing to greet everyone. It doesn't last long though. It's actually Jess who notices first. I see her looking at my shirt and say, "What, Jess?"
"Colleen! Shut up! No way!" She says, jumping off the couch to hug me.
Now, Jess never says "shut up" so I know she's surprised. Chris sees it too and with all the commotion, my mom comes in from the kitchen. She says, "Colleen Mae! I swear if this is a prank, I'm gonna ground you!"
"No, it's real," I say wiping happy tears from under my eyes.
Erik is standing awkwardly in the corner smiling at my actions.  My mom says, "congrats Erik!  You two are gonna be great!"  I really appreciate that she said that to him.
Bailey gets it.  She saw my shirt and she's excited. The other kids aren't sure of what's happening.  I bend down to their level and say, "you guys are going to have a cousin.  Auntie Panties is having a baby!"
With that, I get shrieks of pure joy.
Once everyone's settled down, I say, "Jess, can you come here?"
She follows me to my childhood bedroom. "What's up?" she asks.
I twirl my hair and say, "well, stating the obvious, Erik and I aren't married and for that reason; we had no intentions of getting pregnant.  However, I'm on birth control right now so we were just like oh it's fine!  We'll just...do it.  Obviously, that said birth control didn't work.  And now I've still been on it because I didn't know I was pregnant.  Should I stop?"
"Well at this point, it probably would have no harm, but I'd get off of it if I were you.  It's not known to delay fetal development, but it could've already cause the embryo to attach in a tube instead of the uterus.  Have you felt okay?  Any severe cramping or even bleeding?"
"No," I say, shaking my head nervously, "I threw up yesterday morning for the first time."
Jess looks at me, placing her hands on my shoulders, "you're going to be just fine then. Just make sure you mention it to your doctor. And hey, congratulations. Just saying, I don't see you any differently. It's okay."
Hearing her reassurance makes me feel better. "Thanks, Jess."
Erik and I hang out with my family for a few more hours, then we drive home. Back at home, we call his parents who are also thrilled. Then we call his only sibling, an older sister, Meghan, who already has kids. Erik tells me that she got pregnant very young and before she was married, and her relationship ended in disaster. Her kids' father left soon after the second was born. She gets it. I'm glad to have Meghan there for me. My family is incredible, don't get me wrong, but my mom was married, Jess was married, and Rachel isn't pregnant. Also, none have them have been divorced. Meghan is the closest I've got to my situation.

Katie LeBlanc's POV
It's been two weeks since Katie was transferred to Philadelphia.  Billy and I have been at their house everyday at least once doing all the normal house things.  We've also been communicating with all their extended family and friends.  It's been really exhausting, not gonna lie.  My girls are okay.  I feel like they always end up either trailing behind me or at home alone.  It's really not fair that nobody seems to have time to pay attention to them.  But I think they get it.  I hope they do anyway.
I walk through the door to our house for the third time already today.  Annie is in the kitchen fixing lunch I think.  "Hey," she says.
"What are you doing home?" I ask, knowing she should be at the gym right now.
"I asked coach Gia to take Hayley and me home for lunch sine we have an hour and a half. I'm ahead on school, so she gave me some of that time. I know Hayley gets bored just sitting around there all day to be baby sat. I figured she could have a break for a little bit. Coach Gia is picking us back up in 45 minutes."
This is out of control. My 14 year old is looking out for her little sister. She didn't ask me to come and get her, she had to talk to her coach. She thought about her 10 year old sister before her training and friends. Annie loves to be at the gym with her friends, and yet, she's home right now. She's ahead on school too, which I didn't know. I had no idea how hard she is working right now.
"You guys okay?" I ask, hugging her.
"Yeah, we're fine.  Hayley is "cleaning" her room."
"Oh great," I say sarcastically, knowing that means she's pulling everything out of her closet onto the floor and probably not gonna pick it up.
I go to go upstairs and Annie says, "wait!  I have a question.  Would it be possible for you to maybe ask if...Hayley and I could...go and stay with Colleen in LA for a little bit?"
"I've actually been thinking about that," I say, sighing, "I don't want you guys to think it's because we don't have time for you though.  I know it seems like we're never around but..."
"Mommy, I know.  Hayley and I are happy you guys are helping the Donnelleys.  We're happier than ever because that means you guys are getting along.  I just know it stresses you out to have two kids of your own to take care of, so nobody gets your full attention. We don't need your full attention, but they do."
I sigh again.  "I'll call her before I leave I guess," is say.
Annie jumps around in excitement.  At least she'll be happy.
I call Colleen and she says, "Hello?"
     I say, "hey, Colleen."
     "What's up?"
"Well, you know that Katie is in Philadelphia now.  Billy and I have been crazy, with taking care of all the loose ends back here.  I really hate to do this, but...is there anyway I could possibly send the girls out to LA, just for a little bit?" I say, nervously.
She hesitates. "Yeah, for sure," she sounds nervous.
"You're allowed to say no," I say, reassuring her, "I can have someone else here watch them for a while."
"No!  I mean, I want them to come.  It's just...I have to tell you guys something first..." I can tell she's gonna cry.
"It's okay," I say in my mommy voice.
"Okay, first of all, I have someone...living with me.  He's wonderful and would love the girls to come stay with me.  His name is Erik Stocklin and he was my co star on Haters Back Off.  I know you know everything that happened...you know...and Erik and I tried dating soon after that.  It was too hard for me, but I'm okay now.  We're back together and I am so happy.  If you ask Chris and Jess, they'd tell you that he's great with kids.  I just had to tell you because I know I would want a kid to be sent to a home without knowing there was a strange man there."
"Colleen, I'm not worried about that.    I trust your judgement..."
"Don't worry, it gets worse," she says, obviously upset.
