Colleen's POV
We get back from the ob, and as soon as we walk in the door, I want to call every single person on the planet to tell them. I put Hayley to work on school at the island since she didn't get a normal session this morning, and I begin calling people. I decide to call my parents first.
C=Colleen
M=Mom
D=Dad
C: "Hey guys! I'm back from the ob"
M: "so?!"
C: "what do you wanna know first, how many or the gender?"
M: "Wait what?! What did you just say?"
D: "are you serious?!"
C: "we're having twins..."
M: "Are they identical?"
C: "yeah, identical...girls!"
D: "does Erik have twins in his family?"
C: "no, and identical twins don't run in families."
M: "oh, honey, Bailey's gonna be so excited!"
C: "I know, I'm calling them next and I'm gonna tell her before the boys."
M: "that's so sweet. Okay, we'll let you go. Congratulations and tell Erik that too. Oh, did Rachel go with you?"
C: "yeah, so we took Hayley too, she was really cute."
M: "Aww, okay, bye! Love you all!"
D: "Bye, Colleen. I love you!"

Once I get off the phone with my parents, it's time to call Chris and Jess, but Bailey is the one I'm most excited to tell. She's been waiting for a sister since Jake was born and got two more boys. She loves her brothers but I know she wants a little girl. I call Jess's number. When she answers, I say, "Hey! I need to...um...talk to you and Chris. Do you have a minute?"
"Yeah! Of course! Just a second--Bailey! Can you come in here and watch Duncan for a minute?! I need to go upstairs!"
J: "Okay. We're in our room. No kids. Spill the tea!"
C: "Okay. I just got back from the ob. Don't worry! Everything's fine! Okay. *deep breath* So we found out the gender...or should I say...the gender...s"
I hear Chris gasp.
J: "Wait! Are you kidding?!"
C: "no. I'm not. We're having identical twins."
J: "No way! Girls or boys?"
C: "...girls!"
Ch: "I'm so happy for you guys! That's so crazy!"
J: "oh my god! I'm so excited for you! You're gonna be such a good mom, Colleen. I can't even explain. Bailey is gonna be so excited. Who have you told so far?"
C: "Well, Rachel and obviously Erik were with me. In turn, we had to take Hayley. I was happy to though. She got the inside experience lol. I don't think she'd ever seen an ultrasound since she's the youngest and it was really cool to see her experience that.  Such a sweet kid.  I called my parents and now here we are. I wanted to tell you guys, and then Bailey on her own. Could I FaceTime you? I really wanna see her face!"
J: "yep! Of course. I'll go get her."

Within a few minutes, I'm on FaceTime with Bailey.
C: "hey, Bails!"
B: "Hi, Auntie Panties."
C: "Guess what, Bailey?"
B: "What?!"
C: "You're gonna be an older cousin to two baby girls!"
B: "what?!"
C: "I'm pregnant with identical twins!"
B: "Oh my goodness!  I'm so excited!  I finally get a girl...or...two girls!"
C: "I know!  I'm so excited for you!  Hey, go get you're brothers.  I bet they'll be pretty excited too huh?"
She nods and runs off.  I look back at  Chris and Jess.
C: "you did something right with that kid.  The amazement in her eyes never ceases to put a smile on my face."
Ch: "you're gonna do just as good a job with yours.  We didn't know what we were doing with her and she turned out just fine *laughing*"
I spend a few minutes on the phone with the boys.  They're over the moon excited too.  Parker screams.  Jake is by far the most mellow of the kids, but even he was super excited.  Duncan just didn't really know what was going on, but you know...
As soon as I'm off with them, I shout across the house to Erik, "Okay, Rachel, Mom, Dad, Chris, Jess, and all the kids know.  Let's call your parents and your sister.  Then can I please talk to Annie?"
He smiles and nods, coming over to hug me.  That guy has been nothing but supportive this entire time.

Annie's POV
I'm laying in bed all alone just trying to process everything.  It's after 10 o'clock and my parents are finally home for the day.  My mom was at the gym all day because on top of everything else she's doing, she's also, along with other gym parents, organizing all the fundraising stuff First Class is getting in Katie's name.  My dad was in meetings about Bratayley because, nobody knows this, but a lot of comments on our videos are still very focused on one of the two things; either the fact that we're done with Brat or the fact that we "betrayed" Rebecca.  They're trying to figure out how to brand ourselves instead of us being "Brat". We need to go back to being "Bratayley". We're still getting the views we need, and there are viewers who are defending us.  It's just, our managers don't like it.  Our agent is mad at us and would rather my mom and dad fly Hayley back to Maryland right now and pretend that none of this happened.  Go back to being ordinary.  News flash, or life isn't ordinary right now.
Today we also found out Katie has to go in for brain surgery.  This is supposed to be a happy thing because it's supposed to put her in partial remission.  I'm just so nervous.  We haven't told Hayley and don't plan on it.  My mom doesn't want to tell Colleen either, though she'll see it in the Donnelley's vlogs.  She doesn't want her to stress about it.
The Ancient Greek god must have sensed I'm thinking about Colleen because next thing I know, I have a text from her.  "Can I call you?" She asks.
     "It's after 10!...but yes 😂 "
"Yeah, sorry about that.  We were really busy all day, and I'm dying to tell you this!"
I wipe the tears from my face and take a deep breath, knowing she can sense that I'm upset.
"Hey," I say when she calls, "I have to be quiet, my parents might be asleep."
C: "Okay, this'll only be a minute--anyway, so I went to the ob today, you know, the baby doctor.  We were able to find out the gender.  So, we're actually having...girl...s" emphasizing the "s".
A: "wait!  Girl..s...? Oh my god! I'm so happy for you guys! I wish I could hug you right now!"
C: "I wish you were here too. Oh, I wanted to tell you, I took Hayley with us. Your mom knew. Hay was so excited! She's never seen an ultrasound has she?"
A: "No...I guess not. So she already knows?"
C: "Yeah. She's so happy."
A: "I miss her. Her little smiling face. Her mind that only thinks the best."
C: "I know. I'm sure you'll see her soon."
     I sure hope so anyway.
