Roman sat up glancing around with wide eyes.
"Hey Ro bro, how you feeling?"
"...ok I guess....I miss Virgil Re. I miss him so much."
"I know Ro, I know. I'm going to go see what happened downstairs."
"I'm coming with. It's not safe right now to be alone."
"Alright lets go prince charming."
The two walked downstairs.
"Whats going on down here?"
"Hey kiddos! How are you doing? I know Virgie being gone can't be easy. Especially for you Ro, how about I make cookies to make you feel better."
Remus pushed Roman behind him glaring at him.
"Good bye Morality."
"Come now Janny I just came to say hi."
"Get out Patton. You've caused enough damage to us and Thomas."
"How is the poor kiddo doing? Can't be very good without his Anxiety."
"Shut Up! Dont you DARE talk about him! You are a sick sick selfish glasses wearing manipulating fake ex-sided murder!"
Roman pushee past Remus and pushed Patton to the ground. He was furious.
"You took him from me! You took Virgil from me for your own selfish desires! I hate you! I hate you more then I hated Janus!"
Roman picked him up by the collar of his shirt.
"Roman kiddo, drop me."
"No. You took him from me. You. Took. Him. From. Me!"
"Roman drop him."
"Why should I? I could end this right now."
"If you kill him you'll be no better then him."
Roman froze. He was NOTHING like Patton. He dropped him and backed away. The ex-moral side stood up laughing.
"Poor niave Roman. You could've just finished me. Ended it all. Why didn't do?"
"Im nothing like you. I dont go around murdering people!"
"Your pride and ego always got in the way of you getting what you want you know."
"Get out."
"Aww but I came to see you guys."
He had the twisted sick smile plastered to his face.
"Get out. Get out right now!"
"Fine, fine I'll go...but first your gift Ro."
"My...what?"
"You didnt think I came here for no reason do you?"
He laughed, "Here Ro, here's your present."
Time seemed to slow.
The crazed side threw his knife at Roman.
Janus' eyes went wide.
'No not Roman!'
He pushed Roman out of the way.
Deceit yelped holding his side.
"Janus!"
He fell to his knees.
"Janus baby stay with me!"
He cupped Logan's face.
"I love you Logan."
"I love you too Janus."
His eyes felt heavy.
His legs felt light.
"Nononono Jan don't close your eyes! I need you to stay awake baby."
"I can't...the dark is so welcoming..."
"No Janus dont say that! You're going to be alright."
"I'll say hi to Virgil for you guys..."
"Janus please! Dont close your eyes!"
He slipped into darkness.
His hand faded from Logan's face.
He was gone.
"Janus..."
He sat there.
Refusing to cry.
"Logan..."
He stood up and headed toward the stairs.
"I have work to do. I'll come back when I have a plan."
He started walking before turning back around. He took a sample of the gold dust littering the floor. He left the room.
Remus hugged his twin.
"He...he saved me..."
"He really did."
"Oh my gosh what about Thomas!? He has no anxiety or deceit now!"
"Dont panic Ro. We'll fix this. We'll fix everything."
"Why didn't I end things when I had the chance? We could be done with him. Janus could be alive..."
"I know Ro. You did the right thing not killing him."
