Killer's POV

Everyone sat in the living room. All of our attention was on Error. He held a sleeping Ink close to him. Throughout the entire morning, he hasn't left his side. Well, it is understandable since someone did try to kill Ink last night.

Me: Okay what I'm getting here, is that someone is trying to kill all of us?

He nodded.

Error: He said that I created some sort of 'beast'. Then... then he tried to kill him.

He said as he looked down at Ink. Error gently took Ink's hand and rubbed his thumb against the new ring.

I instinctively wrapped my arm around Dream. My mind couldn't help but think about that maybe Dream could have been in that situation. The more I thought about it, the angrier I became. Dream seemed to notice and hugged me as to say that he was fine.

Error and Ink left a little while ago. They went on a mission together so Error could watch over Ink.

Dream and I were now sitting in my room. Since he is still a little sick, we can't exactly sit outside. I recently learned how to make chicken and dumplings so I made that for both of us. I've always loved food so when I finally decide to leave this job, I'm going to establish a restaurant.

Dream crossed his legs as he silently ate from his bowl. He had control of my TV and he decided to tune it to a cooking channel. We were both very invested in it so, I didn't mind. While he was eating, I unwrapped the bandages. I thought I was good enough to go without them.

Me: Dream.

Dream: Yeah?

Me: Wanna stop by the bakery today?

Dream: Sure. Maybe around noon.

Me: Okay.

He leaned against me and offered me a dumpling. I graciously accepted it.

We walked down the street of the small town. We waved at other people as they walked by. This town was only populated by monsters and we were very friendly towards one another. I soon began to smell the aroma of freshly baked bread floating through the air from the bakery. A small ring of the bell sounded as I opened the door. Muffet, a young lady that ran the store, waved at us. She was sometimes a bit strange but she was overall a very cheerful person.

Muffet: Hi Killer! Who's that?

She motioned towards Dream.

Me: This is Dream. He's new in town.

Muffet: Oh, that's cool. Welcome Dream.

Dream: Hi Muffet. It's good to be here. It's quite peaceful leaving in this quaint place.

Muffet giggled quietly as she continued putting purple icing on black cupcakes. She owned the only bakery but, her pastries were the best. I admired the several doughnuts, cakes, cookies, and other sweets.

'Literal masterpieces.'

I could hear Dream giggle next to me. I looked at him and saw him blushing lightly.

Dream: You love food, don't you?

Me: It's one of my passions.

He giggled again. I smiled slightly. We purchased some pastries. When we sat at a table, a few small spiders came by carrying small bottle of powder sugar and another filled with honey. Dream was frightened by the sight while I was startled. I don't really like spiders all that much.

I stared at the doughnut that I purchased. The black soft cake was coated with shiny purple icing with a web design protruding from the center. When I bit into it, strawberry jam ran down from its hidden pocket. The fruity substance gave the sweet cake an extra boldness of flavor. Muffet always loved making holiday themed pastries.

I looked at Dream's cupcake. It was Halloween themed just like mine. The small cake was black as well but it was topped with a bright orange buttercream swirl. There were pieces of chocolate that resembled spiders, sitting in the brightly colored icing. A cherry finished the edible piece of art.

My eyes stared at the resting, partly eaten doughnut. Thinking about it made me guilty after taking a bite of it. However, that quickly went away as it was a fucking damn good doughnut and I wasn't letting it go to waste. I held the piece of art in my hands and offered it to Dream. He did the same with his cupcake.

Once we finished our sweets, we organized everything into a neat pile, which made it easier for the spiders to clean up, and waved goodbye to Muffet as we walked out.

Dream held onto my arm as we walked the streets. I saw Toriel, an older goat monster, watering the flowers that surrounded her store. She ran a floral shop along with her son named Asriel. They're favorite flower was a simple golden one. I don't remember the name of it though. Asriel has recently come home from college.

'One of the most exciting pieces of information in town ever.'

News spreads pretty quickly around here. Dream admired the flowers as we walked past. People greeted each other and continued walking to their destination. I introduced Dream to everyone and they were all very welcoming to him. He greeted them back with a warm smile. He finally saw the town at its fullest. He held on tighter as the wind got a little colder. A perfect day with...
