Fell's POV

The lack of sleep began to take a toll on me. How could I rest when my princess was out there somewhere?

It was currently midnight and the stars were out but they didn't twinkle like they used to. Nothing seemed to interest me anymore. My classes and missions were boring and dragged on forever.

Asgore sent a few of his men out to find a lead for Classic's kidnapping. Those words tasted bitter on my tongue. I was Classic's partner. I was supposed to protect him but I failed.

I sat under the familiar tree next to the familiar stream. The sound of the water was somewhat calmly but it didn't have its normal affect. I thought back on everything that has happened while I've been here. The emotions caught up to me. The emotions that I have been trying to hold in. I began to cry uncontrollably.

General: I am sorry for the things that you've experienced.

Me: General.

General: Just call me Asgore. I'm certain you would rather want to talk to me this way, without the formalities.

Me: Thank you, sir.

He grunted quietly as he sat on the ground. I didn't bother since he was middle aged goat monster.

Asgore: I know you're thinking about Sans. I apologize.

Me: It's not your fault. It's mine really. I should've been there to help. Now, he's gone. He could be anywhere at this point.

Asgore: It is not your fault either, Fell. You had no knowledge of it so you couldn't do anything.

His commanding, fearless voice was nowhere to be found. It felt like he was talking in a way as if he was speaking to his offspring.

Asgore: You remind me of my son. Always bold and ready for action. He once had a moment like this as well. He was mourning for his sister. My daughter passed away from a dangerous illness.

Me: I'm... sorry for your loss. Did she have a dying wish? I'm sorry if that's too personal.

Asgore: It is alright. She wished for a safer place. A country without criminals, or villains as she put it. That's why I established this camp. I only wanted her to be happy, even in the afterlife.

A tear traveled down Asgore's face. I lightly patted him on the shoulder to comfort him.

Me: Well, if she was here, she would say that she's proud of you. She would give you a hug and tell that she's love you very much. She would say that she misses you and wished to be reunited again.

That seemed to make him happy as tears rolled down his cheeks. He missed his little girl.

We sat in silence until we heard rapid footsteps. It was a scout.

Scout: General. We found a lead.

Asgore stood up and followed the young one back to camp.

Asgore: Come on Fell.

I followed my order. I couldn't believe this was happening. There was a possibility that we could find Classic.

We entered a tent that had many people in it. They were surrounding a table with a map on it. Several circles and Xs dotted the paper. A particular circle caught my attention. A place located in Nevada.

Scout: We believe that place is where they're keeping Classic, sir. I will go and save him.

Asgore: No.
