Horror's POV

My hands gripped the handle of my battle axe while Cross glared daggers at me as his giant knife glinted with a murderous intent. Dust and Killer were trying to break us up. Blue, Dream, and Lust seemed to have been woken up by our loud yelling. Lust stared at me with shock. Guess, he's never seen me like this.

My weapon was suddenly pulled out of my hands, in which caused me to go into a panic. Cross took this has an opportunity to attack. However, before his blade could hit me, he was pushed to the ground. The abrupt force knocked his weapon out his hands. The giant blade clanked against the wood floor until it came to a stop by the wall.

Dust picked Cross up from the ground and Killer held my hands behind my back. I protested against Killer and Cross did the same with Dust. We wanted to fight and we won't stop until one of us wins. The others watched us in fear.

Dust: Blue! Get some rope.

Blue: Where is it?

Dust: Utility closet.

Blue nodded and ran off. Cross continued to fight against Dust's grip.

Dust stared at Cross and I struggle. Not long ago, we were tied to chairs by the rope that Blue went to go get. Killer held our weapons. Eventually, we stopped fighting as we became tired.

Dust: Are you done?

I nodded.

Dust: Good. Now, let's keep the peace between us. Please, apologize to each other.

Sighing, I looked at Cross.

Me: I'm sorry I said what I said.

Cross: I'm sorry as well, amigo.

He returned the apology. After we were untied from our bonds, we hugged it out.

Dream: How about we all go to a restaurant and put this in the past?

(Time Skip)

Lust held my hand as the group walked down street. I felt him give a little squeeze. Looking at him, we locked eyes.

Lust: Horror, are you okay? Emotionally, that is.

Me: I think so.

Lust hugged my arm as to tell me that it was okay.

I used the towel to dry myself off as I walked out of my bathroom. Lust sat on the window seat, staring out the window. A violet satin nightgown adorned his body. His breath created a foggy surface on the glass. His vibrant purple eyes met with mine.

Lust: Tomorrow is New Years. Not exactly the way I'd imagine I would spend it.

He laughed mournfully. I sat next to him and hugged him.

Me: It's okay, Pumpkin. Things will get better.

Lust: I hope they do.

Me: They will, trust me.

He leaned into my embrace. I moved him into my lap and he kissed my cheek. An idea popped into my head.

Me: Wanna talk?

He shifted himself so he could look at me.

Lust: About what?

Me: I would like to get to know you. I feel like I know should things about my boyfriend.

Lust: Alright, what do you want to know?

He rested onto my chest and stared up at me. I started to come up with questions.

Me: What do you want to do in the future?

Lust closed his eyes so he could fully think.

Lust: I want expand my fashion career. I also really want a child. That's been my vision for my entire life.

A sweet smile appeared on his face, the one that I was addicted to.

Lust: I have a question for you. Where did that giant cracked hole come from?

He pointed towards the hole in my head. I didn't mind him asking me. It's been a part of my life for the longest time.

Me: My high school roommate accidentally injured me beyond the point of healing it properly.

Lust: Oh, I'm so sorry.

Me: It's okay. It doesn't matter anymore.

(Time Skip)

Lust moved a little as he slept. I kept him warm by wrapping my arms around him. The feeling of needing to sleep didn't quite hit me yet. That's what you get when you're an assassin.

Rain started to pour outside and thunder increased in volume. It would've been calming if I wasn't so scared of the loud noise. I had a bottle of sleeping medication in my bathroom but I didn't want to disturb Lust in his peaceful slumber.

I looked around my room. My axe leaned against the dresser. Its clean blade reflected the sudden bursts of light from outside the window.

Looking down at Lust, I saw how calm he was in his sleep. It surprised me how his uncle forced him to do things that he didn't like and yet, he still kept living his life to the fullest.
