Crow's POV

I woke up in the middle of the night. Looking around, I saw that smoke loomed up from the candle, showing that it had recently burned out. Moonlight poured in through the window. It casted an unrecognizable shadow on the ceiling. Only then did I notice the sound of a piano playing. The one from downstairs.

A piano was kept in a large and empty room on the first floor. Standing up, I followed the sound. As I quietly walked down the stairs, the song grew louder. Eventually, I came across a door. The sound of the instrument was loud, signaling that it was behind this door. Opening it, I walked in. However, I stopped in my tracks out of confusion. I was standing in a hallway.

'That's funny, I was certain that the piano room was behind this door.'

The song still played loudly but there was no source. So logically I turned around to get out. My hand gripped the knob but the object won't budge. The door was locked. The only thing left to do was traverse through the hallway.

As I walked, I listened to the song bounce off of the walls. It was loud and yet, I couldn't find the piano.

I noticed something, the further I went into this hallway, the darker it became. Almost as if like magic, I came upon a lit candle. It lit the way as I traveled in the seemingly endless corridor.

There was only silence... until I heard a crunch under my foot. Peering down and moving my foot, I saw broken pieces of glass. Buried under the pile of sharp objects, was a single photo. I picked it up to get a better look. After noticing it was backwards, I turned it over. The picture was strange. It was a family of three but, their faces were crossed out by a black permanent marker.

I stuffed the picture into my pocket for safe keeping and continued walking into the dark passageway.

After a few minutes, the candle shedded light on a mysterious item sitting on a table. Once I got closer, the item soon became recognized as Asuki. However, her porcelain face was broken, leaving a hole in her head. My hand reached out to grab the doll. Suddenly, a spider crawled out of the broken hole, causing me to retract.

'Cel probably broke it and left it here accidentally. But I'm not touching it.'

Leaving the doll at the table, I instantly felt someone watching me. Quickly spinning around, I saw no one. Asuki was still facing the same way and everything. Nothing was there. Taking a few steps, I calmed down again.

Proceeding to walk, I noticed the hallway become an almost black abyss. The source of light was the small amount from the candle I held.

I once again, came across another object. This time, it was two. On the floor was two small items. A single black rose and a deck of cards. Both the flower and cards were stained in blood. I bent down to grab them.

???: Hey.

Yelling, I frantically turned around, I looked for the person who spoke.

Me: Who's there?!

No answer. Just choking silence. A long eternity passed and still nothing. I turned around but I was still alert. Unexpectedly, I became scared by what was in front of me. Where the rose and cards once laid, a trail of blood replaced them. The pattern was strange. It looked like someone was dragged by their feet, their bloody hands leaving marks on the floor. They were clawing for freedom but whatever was pulling them did not let go. Doing the stupid decision, I followed the blood trail. Actually, it was the only way I could go.
