"And she didn't say what this was about?" Hannah asked for the millionth time as we trudged into the abandoned part of Hogsmeade. Susan sighed. Hermione had invited her and Justin (and by extension us) to this super secret meeting at the Hog's Head, which is in the almost abandoned side of Hogsmeade.
"No. I have no idea." Susan huffed. Anna smirked. "Maybe it's an uprising. An escape route from Umbridge." I shake my head. "It must be about Umbridge, nothing else has consumed our lives this much."
As the five of us step into a crummy looking bar. We see Luna and Cho. We stand behind them, There are quite a few of us here. I see Seamus, Dean and Nevill sitting in tiny chairs. Seamus makes eye contact with me and I give him a wink. He grins back. I know if he's here then at least he's trying.
"So we've fully forgiven him?" Anna whispers to me. I blush. "Awe, come on Anna. Leave her alone. She's got a massive crush is all." Justin teases but I punch him in the arm.
Sitting at the front were Hermione, Ron and Harry. No surprise there. After the door closes one last time with the Weasley twins in tow, Hermione decides it's a good time to start.
She stands and stutters out an awkward greeting. "You all know why we're here. We need a teacher... A proper teacher. One who's had real experience defending themselves against the Dark Arts."
"Why?" questions a moody Ravenclaw boy. I think his name is Terry.
"Why? Because You Know Who's back you toss pop." Ron says. I almost laugh but it's so quiet.
"So he says." Terry snaps looking at Harry.
"So Dumbledore says." Hermione shoots back.
"So Dumbledore says, because he says. The point is where's the proof."
"If Potter could tell us more about how Diggory got killed." Another Ravenclaw boy pipes in.
Harry's eyes darted across the room and land on Cho. I know with every fiber of my being he won't do it.
"I'm not going to talk about Cedric so if that's why you're here you might as well clear out now. Come on, Hermione. Let's go. They're just here because they think I'm some sort of freak."
"Is it true you can produce the patronus charm?" Luna asks politely.
Harry hesitates. "Yes. I've seen it." Hermione answers for him.
"Blind-me, Harry. I didn't know you could do that." Dean smiles.
"And he killed a basilisk with a sword in Dumbledore's office." Neville pipes in. "It's true." Ginny concedes.
"3rd year, he fought off 100 dementors at once." Ron says.
"And last year he really did fight You Know Who in the flesh..." Hermione starts.
