HAPPY NEW YEAR Y'ALL!!🎉❤
Enjoy this one!
3rd person pov.
Cooking lunch in the kitchen with Nadia, Ayush got lost in her thoughts while chopping vegetables. Nadia was telling her something but her mind wasn't there entirely. If someone asks her what she was thinking about, she doesn't know exactly, just random thoughts running on her mind.
Nadia was engrossed in the gist she was telling her she didn't see Ayush hurting herself. Ayush was deep in thoughts she couldn't even fell the pain.
"Aisha" Amir walked into the kitchen using his phone. He stood in front of her with his phone in his hand, when she didn't respond to him he looked up to see her hurting herself while chopping the veggies. Deep in thoughts, she didn't even know she was getting hurt.
"Aisha" he called again and shook her by her shoulder.
"Mhmm" she looked up meeting his dark orbs.
"What were you thinking of" he collected the knife from her and placed it on the chopping board. He held the injured hand with one of his hands and placed his other hand on her shoulder.
"Nadia bring the first aid box" they walked out to the living room.
"Okay sir" he made her sit on the sofa, all of a sudden tears started streaming down her cheeks. He was puzzled, he didn't know why she was crying. The pain was too much for her to handle, she had to let it out, she hates breaking down in front of him but she didn't have a choice, it was all coming back with full force, the nightmares, the pain she's being going through ever since Farhan passed away, and here Amir adding to her problem, adding more pain to her already broken heart.
Tears were streaming down her cheeks. But even in pain she still looked beautiful. Her hair was messy with strands falling over her face.
He knows she's not crying because of her wound, there's something wrong with her, the screams and cries every night need to be explained to him. He needs answers to his questions. She doesn't mean anything to him, but her tears were shaking him to the core. Maybe that's just what he thought, how can the tears of someone who doesn't mean anything to him shake him the way hers does.
While waiting for Nadia to bring the first aid kit he quickly pulled her to his side. He took his handkerchief immediately and tried dabbing on her wound with utmost care like she was the most fragile thing in the world.
When he dabbed the wound she winced in pain and grabbed his arm with her eyes squirmed. It wasn't a deep cut but she was bleeding and that had him worried. What could she be possibly thinking of that made her injure herself.
Nadia brought the first aid kit and left. He wrapped his arms around her waist and brought her close to see the cut. The moment he pulled her close her heart skipped a beat. His musky scent and touch was too much for her to handle.
"Just let the tears out okay?" He doesn't know the reason behind his sudden change or why he cares for her, why was is she affecting this much. He gently placed her head on his broad chest, she clung to his shirt burry her head deep into his embrace. One thing is for sure, she wasn't in her right state of mind, she would never have done that. Her tears were wetting his shirt but he didn't care less. He stroked her shoulders gently.
At the moment he forgot the grudge he was holding with her. He felt sorry for her, for the first time in a long time. She was feeling sufficated so he unbuttoned the first two buttons of her button up shirt and removed the head scarf she tied on her hair letting the hair fall over her shoulders.
