"We're finally," Rami threw his stuff down on the floor and ran to the living room, "home!"
Kian didn't even reach the couch before he dropped on the floor. "I missed my lovely home."
I smiled to myself but shook my head. "You better not leave your stuff here. Take it up to your room. You can unpack later."
"We just got home, Xavier..." Both Rami and Kian whined, but I shook my head again as the others went up to their room to put their stuff away. "Fine."
They got up and I went upstairs to my room. Levi, Enzo, Kai, and Quincy were already laying on the bed after putting their stuff by the closet.
It was the second week of August, which meant that it had been about seven weeks since our beach day. The day had been spent well and so were the following weeks. We continued to travel north until we reached Maine, then went back south and drove home through the different states. We probably went to around thirty states in total, which was pretty good because my lovers were able to go to states that they had never been to before and experience new things.
I was quite tired from all the driving that I did today, so I took a quick shower and put on my most comfortable clothes that I could find. I went downstairs and found everyone eating whatever they could make without too much work.
I found Amir sitting on the couch cuddling up with Benji and Kai. Them two have grown the closest with Amir, which super was cute. Amir was close with the others as well, but he was a lot more affectionate with Benji and Kai.
"Have you guys eaten yet?" I asked the three that were sitting on the couch.
They all nodded, so I went to the kitchen and made myself a quick sandwich. I ate as I listened to the guys talk at the table, then washed my dirty dishes. I looked out the window and could tell that the sun was setting. I checked my phone and saw that it was past six.
Kai and Quincy were starting their final year of high school next week. Dom, Benji, Rami, and Kian were starting their sophomore year of college in a few more weeks. Levi was starting his first year of college, too.
At first, Milo didn't want to go to college at all, because he wanted to be by my side at all times, but I told him that I would get back to work starting Sunday which meant that I would be a lot more busier. He still didn't want to go, but then Dom convinced him to go in the end. Milo applied to a few colleges and got accepted into most of them, but he decided to go to the same one as Levi so that my puppy wouldn't be alone.
Once Enzo and I went back to work, we would definitely be a lot more busier since we wouldn't have school in the way anymore. There wasn't needing to go to the hospital or take breaks because of me, at least I hoped, so work would be taking up most of my time.
It was Thursday today, so Amir, Enzo, and I had a few more days till work. I was a bit sad that I wouldn't get to have anymore breaks, unless something were to happen again, but I was excited to be able to work with Amir, Enzo, Manuel, Gio, Marco, and Eddie again. They obviously had their own gangs and warehouses to look after, but whenever we would need to have a family meeting, I know that it would be fun after the serious stuff.
I still needed to deal with the bastards that were Paula's men. I remember overhearing Amir and Manuel talking about it a few weeks ago, but Amir just told him to not bring it up again until after the trip was over, but I wanted to deal with them.
I wanted to take care of the men that hurt Enzo and Reece, and the ones that kidnapped Rami, Kian, Quincy, and Levi. They were definitely going to be dealt with properly. All the other useless men had been killed during the raid, and the ones that were taken had been pressed for information, then immediately killed right after.
