It's the day of my wedding day, I am one short walk and two words away from being Mrs Sebastian Lake.

But before we get into that, we should take it right back to where this all began.

Chapter One: How it all started

"Come on Rosalie, things are about to change for the better!" My mother said with as much encouragement as she could.

I pulled my black suitcase covered with the brightest yellow sunflowers behind
me. It had taken me a whole five minutes to find my suitcase, it stood out from all these plain boring ones.

"I promise you my darling, this will be good for you." My father said.

They had packed and moved the family a long way from home. And by long way, I mean 5809 miles away.

I'm from Florida, the place where it was always a beautiful day with the occasional  rainy day. But now i'm here, Athens.

Don't get my wrong, Greece is a beautiful country. My father had became the manager of one of the most popular hotels out there, hence why he moved the entire family.

By entire family, I mean my parents, myself and my little brother Hudson. I had been here a total of three times, this being my third. I love everything about Greece but my intentions were never to live here.

We moved all the time but florida was the place we had been in the longest. Ever since I was seven we had moved from place to place for my fathers business. He's owned many hotels in his time. We were from England originally and go back there quite often to see family.

It wasn't that long before I found myself standing in front of a large, pale building.

"This is home." Dad said, leading us inside through large glass doors.

"Welcome, Fogale family." A very handsome man greeted us.

"Ah, Sebastian. It's very nice to see you again!" My father gushed to the strangely handsome man in a black fitted tux.

"I can say the same, we are very excited to have you officially apart of the company." My father and Sebastian exchanged a few words before we were led up to the top floor. He didn't sound like he was from here, hmm

Sebastian is one handsome man. Like on the level of young Leonardo, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Rob Lowe. I think you get my flow here. He's yummy.

"Rosa, why are you drooling?" My sweet sweet little brother asked, loudly may I add.

"What? -I'm not shut up." I gushed out.

"This is your room." Mr hunk opened the door and we were greeted with something so beautiful.

We were living gold man, gold.

"I'll let you get settled, it was nice meeting you all." Sebastians said, my gaze on him a little longer than it should've been.

"Ma'am." He winked.

Did he really just wink at me? That's dangerous.

———

It wasn't long before I was wrapped up in thick layers of clothes and out of the door. I hadn't been here for less than twenty-four hours but I just really didn't want to tackle the stress of unpacking right now.

I reached the elevator, pressing the floor button once we I was inside. It was a cute little elevator, walls were coated with mirrors and the floor and ceiling were marbled black. Fancy smancy.

I shoved myself in the corner between the gold plated handles that stuck to each of the three walls. There was nothing I hated more than the feeling of my stomach dropping along with the elevator movement.

My eyes were squeezed shut for the ride before the doors opened with a 'bing' sound. I opened my eyes only to be greeted by mr hunk himself and not on the floor level.

"Good evening, ma'am." He greeted with that oh so lovely smile of his. Gah.

"I'm not 40, you don't need to call me ma'am." I tested,

"My name is Rosalie." I said while repeating the actions I had done before he walked in to brace myself.

"Elevators aren't your thing, are they miss Rosalie?" I could practically hear the smirk in his voice.

"Not at all, might have to start taking the stairs." I comment as the doors open.

"That would be a long walk up." Mr hunk said before gesturing for me to walk out the doors. "After you."

What a gentleman!

"Where might you be off to?" He asked. A little invasive don't you think, mr yummy?

"I'm not too sure yet." I replied.

"There's a lot to see , trust me." Yeah, he was a lot to see.

"What was that?" He asked, that smirk slapped on his face once again. Someone really needs to keep count of this.

"Nothing." I smiled, not sure if I said that last comment out loud of not. Maybe hes a mind reader?

"Are you a mind reader?" I stupidly asked

"That, miss Rosalie. I cannot tell you." He winked before walking away from me, leaving me stumped.

He is dreamy.

Before I was able to reach the door, Sebastian was right beside me throwing his coat on.

"What are you doing?" I asked

"I'm going to show you around." He decided, I wasn't complaining though.

"That'd be lovely, thank you!" He smiled and linked his arm with mine. I can tell you right now, if we were touching skin I just might have died.

"The best places in town are walking distance so lucky you." I mean, I was pretty lucky to be standing so close to this man sculpted by the gods.

I need to stop..

After a while, he had shown me a couple of his favourite places. Those included a small beach that unfortunately didn't have black sand. I was looking forward to that. He also showed me a small park that was tucked behind a few buildings and last of all a popular small town cafe that we were now sitting at.

"This is probably my favourite place on Earth. This cafe." He said and I could totally see why, it was the cutest shop and it smelt amazing.

"It's lovely here." I complimented.

"So tell me, what made you move here?" He asked, pretty dumb question if you ask me.

"Didn't really have a choice, my father owns the hotel remember?" I laugh

"Well yes, but you seem old enough to have stayed where you were last."

To be fair, he was right. I could have stayed but I didn't really see the point in staying. I would have been alone.

"I can't see myself being so far away from my parents and brother. You don't sound like you're from here?" I said, changing the subject in hopes he'd go along with it.

"Well sweetpea, I was born in Ireland and lived in England almost my whole life. Only moved here about two years ago." He explained.

Hmm, sweet pea. I like that.

"Do I not sound like a greek?" He smirked.

"Not at all." I truthfully say.

We talked for a couple hours, updating each other on how our lives were and how we got to where we are sitting right now.
