Chapter Fourteen : Town's Fair 🎡

It had been eight months since Sebastian and I became an item. We were inseparable, I spent almost every waking moment with him. We just couldn't get enough of each other.

"I knew you two would be together! Literally so cute." Madeline said from across the screen.

"It's been six months now, I really didn't think we would get this far. He's way too good for me." I admit, he's more than I deserve.

"I think he's perfect for you, Rosie. I really do." We didn't talk for much longer, our time was cut short by Sebastian walking into my bedroom. I did promise her that I'd call her later on.

Seb had buttered my father up and somehow convinced him to let him in the "house", even in my bedroom as long as the door was cracked open.

"Hey, flower." He said, his lips capturing mine. He tasted of coffee, mostly having a cup that Maddie brought him before he came up here.

"Hi, Seb." I opened the blanket that I was buried under, inviting him in. He took that chance to take off his shoes and tie before climbing in with me.

"I missed you today, why didn't you come down this morning to say hi?" He questioned, his arms instantly wrapping around my body.

"Time got away from me today, i'm sorry." Our bodies were flushed tight together, our clothes were the only layers between us.

I felt safe in his hold, his touch was always so gentle and comforting.

"There's a fair in the next town over tonight, was gonna go with the lads. Do you want to come with me?" He asked

"A fair? Of course!"

"Great, we'll leave from here about five." He said.

By the time it had hit five p.m, I was downstairs in the lobby with Maddie, Demeter, Nash and Eddie. We were all waiting for Seb to rock up.

It wasn't long before he pulled up outside, Maddie and Nash got in their own car while the rest of us got in Sebastian's.

I sat behind him with Demeter beside me and Eddie in the front seat. Technically it was a triple date going on right now even though Dem and Ed weren't an item yet.

But I've got a feeling they would be soon.

It took us no longer than a half hour to reach our destination and once we got there, we walked the dark road until we reached the lights of the ticket booth.

"Mm, cotton candy!"

"It's called fairy floss." Demeter argued with Eddie and I just knew they were going to be like this all night.

Maddie and Nash were already inside, waiting for the four of us by a ride that had many twists and turns.

"Oh no no, I'm not going on there!" I said, shaking my head no. There was no way anyone was going to convince me to-

"I'll win you one of those plushies if you come with me." Sebastian said.

"Well, sold!" I said.

He gives a hard bargain.

"That was easy." He said as we lined up. I was quite a nervous bean in this moment in time.

"Don't worry, i'll be right next to you petal." He said, his arm slung around my shoulder as he kissed the side of my head.

"I'm not worried." I lied.

Before I knew it we were seated on the ride, strapped in tight.

"I'm not going to fall out am I?" The ride creaked and we began a slow ride upwards.

"I promise baby, you will not fall out." He said from beside me, reaching over to grab my thigh. "You'll be alright."

His hand moved away back to the grips in front of us.

We arrived at the top and sat there for at least five seconds before a bang was heard and we were zipping down the tracks of the ride.

I can honestly say my throat hurt from screaming afterwards.

"You see, it wasn't that bad. Was it sunshine?" He asked while I attempted to straighten out my hair with my fingers.

"Scary it was." I said.

"Come on, let's win you that teddy."

"C'mon mate, this is your fifth try." Eddie teased. We had been at one stall for ten minutes. All he had to do was knock down all the cans and we win a monkey.

"Shut up, i'm trying to get my girl what she wants." He said and I gigged.

With an annoyed huff, he threw his arm back and flicked the ball towards the cans, finally knocking them all done.

"Well done buddy." The guy said, handing over the pink bear.

"M'lady." He said.

"Thank you, my hero." I laughed, hugging the plush to my chest.

"Come on, to the swings!" Maddie said, pulling both myself and Dem towards the line, leaving the boys in our dust.
