Chapter Twenty-two : A Year in Life

Sebastian had gone to Italy the next day, we were taking things one day at a time. He had compromised with the CEO's and they agreed to let him stay in Greece until the hotel renovations were finished.

I had been without him for two days now but I was still happy. We were together and there was nothing that would get in our way.

Maddie was over and we were getting ready for a girls night out.

"You should definitely wear this." Maddie said, holding up a red dress. It fell short just above my knee.

"That's super cute, I didn't even know I had this." I said, looking at the piece of clothing that was unfamiliar to me.

"Put it on!"

Within an hour, Dem had rocked up and we were all dressed and ready. We got out of the door and into the elevator.

"I hate to do this to you, but you've got to put this on." Demeter said, holding up a black piece of cloth.

"Are you going to kill me?" It seems like something Demeter would do.

"Not tonight my pretty." She laughed, tying the black piece of cloth around my head, making sure to cover my eyes.

"How many fingers am I holding up?" Maddie asked and I obviously couldn't see.

"Three." I guessed and she laughed.

They both took one of my hands each before leading me out of the elevator.

"Where are we going?" I asked as they guided me, "You'll see."

"Stand here and don't move." Dem said before their hands disappeared and I stood by myself.

"Take your blindfold off!" Maddie said and I did as instructed. Only for my eyes to be blessed with the beautiful sights of the hotel garden. Except this time, my family and friends stood in front of the roses.

"Madeline!" I gasped, "what are you doing here." My best friend from childhood stood next to my other two best friends. Instead of replying, she motioned with her finger for me to turn around.

"Turn around?" I questioned before spinning on my heels.

I gasped, my hand instantly moving to cover my mouth. Sebastian was behind me, kneeling down on one knee with a small black box in his hands.

"Rosalie, my flower. It was only right for me to bring it back to where it all started." He began. "I love you and I want nothing more than to spend my life with you. Will you marry me?"

"Oh, Seb. Yes!" I said, hot and happy tears spilling from my eyes.

He slipped the ring on my finger, it was a perfect fit. He stood up and his lips connected with mine.

Our friends and family cheered behind us, all of them running over to hug the both of us.

"I can't believe my baby is getting married!" My mother gushed, her arms wrapped snug around me.

"Caroline, dear. You're squishing her." My father said, pulling my mother away from me. She was an emotional wreck right now.

"I've got the best pictures." Madeline said, wiping a tear from her cheek.

"I'm so happy I got to be here to witness this!"

A year later

"I can't believe you are getting married in a week!" Madeline screeched. She had flown in from England a couple days ago and this weekend was my hens night!
