Party Twenty-one : You are my forever home 🤍

"I should've told him. I should've said yes." I cried to my friends. We sat on my bed, my head laid against Demeter's.

We had called Maddie, she was the missing piece to our friend group.

"Told him what?" Madeline asked.

"That I would marry him." I told them, wiping my eyes. They were most likely extra red and puffy by now.

"WHAT?" Maddie said from beside me.

"You're telling us now, that he asked you to marry him and YOU SAID NO?" Demeter said, moving my head off her shoulder.

"Yes, I couldn't do that to him. It would be asking him to-"

"You dumb garden tool. Get your ass up and go get your man!" Madeline said over the computer screen, the other two agreeing with her.

I wiped my face. He's now my life and he always will be.

"You're right girls!" I said before getting out of bed, I quickly ran to the bathroom to splash my face with water.

"His flight leaves in thirty minutes!" Maddie said, getting out of the bed.

"Girls! Take me with you, I can't miss this!" Madeline said and of course Demeter facetimed her on her phone so she wouldn't miss a beat.

"It takes thirty minutes to get to the airport!" I stressed to them.

"I can get us there in fifteen." Demeter said, a look of determination and something else that I couldn't quite grasp.

Within two minutes we were in the car and speeding twenty miles over the speed limit. Demeter was crazy.

"You're going to kill us!" Maddie screamed.

"Hush your mouth!"

I dialled his number, only for it to go straight to voicemail. My leg shook as I held in my tears, eager to get to the airport, praying to god that I wouldn't die before I made it there.

We managed to get there without getting caught by the police or dying. That was a plus.

"Maddie, stay here with the car. I'll get her in!" Demeter said, as we ran into the airport.

With a lot of complaints, Demeter took my hand and pushed through the line. I felt bad but it was life and death.

"Hey! You can't cut!"

"Shut your dirty pie hole! Her man is about to leave on a plane and never see her again. If you've got anything to say, I will quite gladly shut your mouth for you!" Demeter screamed as I made my way to the desk.

"I need one ticket, to anywhere! I just need to get in there." I said, hoping the hostess would be understanding enough.

"Oh my god, how long have you been together? This is like a movie!"

"A long while now, yeah yeah." I said.

"I am witnessing a fairytale right here."

"Yes, if you could hurry up. That would be much appreciated." I was practically shaking, watching the time go by.

Five minutes.

"I hope you get to him in time, good luck!" I thanked the lady and ran as fast as I could, leaving behind Demeter to deal with the angry crowd. She could take them.

I somehow found the courage to push through people, apologising here and there. Trying my best not to get in trouble.

"Watch and necklaces ma'am." The security guard said as I got to the metal detectors

Three minutes.

I took everything off that would go off before walking through and beeping.

"Belt." I groaned and slid it off before stepping through again.

"Off you go." I collected all my items without bothering to put them back on. I straight legged it to his terminal.

One minute.

"Sorry ma'am, the doors are closing now. No one can get in." The hostess said from the gate.

"I've missed him. I can't believe I let him get away.." I whispered, walking over the window to see if I could see him through the airplane windows.

No luck, I couldn't see anybody as the plane slowly made its way out.

As another tear fell down my face as I slowly started putting all my items back on. I took my necklace to my neck, trying my best to clip it together.

"Let me help you." A very familiar voice said before clipping it together, it falling nicely on my chest. The voice instantly making my heart stop beating for a split second.

A smile hit my face and I was quick to turn around and there he was. Standing there, in front of me with a smile.

"What took you so long?" He asked, his hands grabbing my face before slamming his lips to mine.

"I'll marry you, I will." I said against his lips, causing him to smile.

"I couldn't get on the plane, they called my name three times but I just couldn't."

"I called you." I told him and he smiled, taking my hands in his.

"My phone was on airplane mode." He said.

"Flower, you are my forever home. You're the person I want to grow old with, you're the person I want to have children with and I cannot imagine my life without you." He said.

"I don't need the world as my home when I have you." He added and I melted into his touch.

"You're all I want, all that I need. It's you, my Rose." He said and I kissed him. My arms clinging to him, afraid that he'll slip away again.

"I love you, Sebastian. I love you so much!" I tell him as we embrace each other.

"You'll really marry me?" He questioned and I could feel the smirk against my skin.

"I will marry you."

——

Walking out of customs back into the main airport where the girls were standing, waiting for me.

When I walked out without Seb, their faces instantly dropped as they walked towards me. Only for Sebastian to walk out a few seconds later.

"You did it!" Demeter squeaked.

I did it.

"If it wasn't for Dem and her crazy driving." I commented, Sebastian's hand in mine.

I felt at home
