I love you

Being with them through the years are so beautiful and amazing. Pinaramdam nila sa akin kung ano ang tunay na kabuluhan ng buhay. And those times, I realized that, they indeed my family.

"Happy birthday! Wohooo!" they shouted happily.

I smiled while looking at them. My heart felt so happy and full of love while watching them having fun.

The whole rooftop was lit up and have balloons and some decorations. It's my eighteenth birthday. We all gathered here to celebrate my debut. Iyon naman talaga ang plano ko simula pa lang.

It's just a simple and private celebration. My papa wants to make a grand debut celebration for me but I declined. I just want some of my family and close friend to be here with me.

"Hey, let's join them." Jelly went to me and handed the plate with carbonara.

Tinanggap ko iyon at ngumiti sa kaniya. "Thank you. I'm fine here. Kayo na lang."

Ngumuso naman siya at umupo sa tabi ko. The cold wind blew. Linipad ng hangin ang buhok ko. Napangiti ako nang makitang nakatingin siya sa buhok ko. She really wants to dye her hair too but she can't because Louie declined.

"Huwag mo akong inggitin diyan sa buhok mo!" inirapan niya ako. I chuckled. Baliw talaga. "You should come over there, it's your party. You should join us."

Umiling ako at sumandal sa inuupuan ko. "Really. I'm fine here. Kayo na lang."

Ngumuso naman siya. "Sige na nga. Sayang naman 'yung party."

I smiled at her. Umayos ako ng upo at inayos rin ang kumot sa aking binti.

Her curly hair is dancing gracefully because of the wind. Mukha talaga siyang living barbie doll.

"Sige na. Enjoy the night." pang tataboy ko sa kaniya. Natatawa pa dahil sa nakasimangot niyang mukha.

Humarap siya sa akin. Tumaas ang kilay ko. "Oh? Akala ko ba aalis ka na?"

She sigh and walk towards. Lumapit siya sa akin at umupo ulit sa tabi ko. "Kahel babes...."

I glance at her and smiled. "Hmm?"

She sadly smiled. "Kasi....itutuloy mo pa ba? Are you still planing to continue your....plan?"

Nawala ang ngiti ko sa kaniya. I stared at her then blink twice. Itutuloy ko ba?

"Jels..."

She look up to suppressed her tears from falling and laugh a little. "Don't. Please? Kahel babes?"

Huminga ako ng malalim. I bit my lower lip. It's breaking my heart to see her like this. I want to cry too but opt not to. It would make her cry more and I don't want that to happen.

"Jelly...."

Huminga siya ng malalim at tumingin sa akin. A tear fell down to her cheeks. "Kasi Kahel babes, ayokong mangyari 'yon. Kaya....dont do your plan. H-Huwag mo nang ituloy. Baguhin mo na ang wish mo. You can wish all you want but please, not this."

My heart clenched while looking at my dear best friend beg.

I smiled softly and put my hand on the top of her hand. "Jels...don't cry, please. Napag usapan na natin 'to diba?"

"P-Pero kasi..."

Hinaplos ko ang pisngi niya at masuyong ngumiti. "Hindi naman ako aalis. Mag papahinga lang ako."
