Zelo Mendez's extra special chapter

I looked at Zelo Mendez. Liking him is one of the most beautiful sin I committed. His brown sad eyes looked so beautiful, always my favorite.

"You really choose to be single and fall head over heels with Zelo Mendez. You trash those years that you're with Benedict for a guy that doesn't even love you", I smiled at my friend Darel.

Benedict and I, everyone really misunderstood us...

"I love Benidict, I love him more than myself. I love him more than Zelo. However, things doesn't go the way it should be between us." I told Darel as I held my report.

I breathe really hard and finally walk inside the meeting hall to present. I'm the new head of the engineering department and it has been a month since I got promoted.

As I walk, I put on a smile in my face. My heels are making a thud sound on the floor as I move closer and closer to the platform.

John, my other friend, waved at me and gave me a thumbs up sign.

"Belladonna Tavisco, the one that got away", It sent shivers down my spine.

My mouth parted in shock of how he found out. I swallowed as I try to calm myself. He looked at me with his sharp eyes.

"Mind telling me, the reason you left, Ex-lover?"

"I'm here purely for business and not for the pas—"

"Then your business is not welcome. Get out of my office!"

My heart sank and tears started to pour from my eyes as I pushed the door to leave his office. The same eyes that once looked at me with love is the same eyes that looked at me with nothing but coldness.

I wasn't even expecting him to be nice to me, I was just hoping that we can act professional.

I saw how he throw his glass nameplate in the wall and heard it's breaking as it collides on the hard surface before closing the door.

The same mouth that once call my name with gentleness is the same mouth that said my name as if he is spitting poison. I don't even know why I'm crying.

Maybe because I didn't expect him to treat me this sh'tty or because I like him.

"I hate you for making me feel so bad about myself, Zelo Mendez" I said before turning my back at his door and I might resign from this place. I can't stand my boss, it's only logical for me to leave.

It's not like this is my first time leaving him anyway.
