So, in the previous chapter, I asked you guys if it would be a drikshit confession in the chapter ahead, and to my surprise, everyone who replied said 'Yes'! (Yeah, okay, so now I know that you guys want the confession really badly).
Coming to the main topic, those who answered were correct, and yet not entirely correct. Drishti and Rakshit said that they both liked each other, but the deal only gets sealed if 'love' is used! So, stay tuned! Grand #drikshit confession coming soon!

And now, without holding you lovely readers for more time, let's continue with the story!

RAKSHIT'S POV

I woke up the next morning, well rested, to the sight of a sleeping Drishti cuddled on top of my bare chest. As the events of the previous night rushed back to me, I smiled to myself, apparently blushing. Last night had been like a dream, the most beautiful chapter of a fairytale. Last night, I had made Drishti mine, if not forever, at least for a lifetime.
As I gazed at her cute expression, I let my hand caress the few strands of loose hair that fell upon her face. Her milky white, flawless body; her rosy lips; her sensuous moans - I had lost control entirely last night. As I realized that, I felt a pang of guilt rise in my chest. Had I hurt her? I think I had. I had been too busy quenching my thirst for her body to have even asked her if my actions were hurting her. How could I be this careless, especially for the girl who meant the world to me?!

Speaking of the world - what time was it? I sat up, carefully holding Drishti's head and resting it on a pillow. I drew the blanket up to her chin and then turned to check the clock on the bedside table.

12 : 25 p. m.

It was midday, which meant that we had overslept and also that we had missed breakfast.
I wondered what excuse would sound coherent in front of Divya and Sikhar as a reason for our oversleeping.

As I was about to descend from the bed, I felt a light tug at my left wrist. I turned to find Drishti rubbing her eyes.

~ "Subah ho gayi, Rakshit?"

She asked the question as if she was expecting a negative answer from me.

I bent down over her and kissed her forehead.

~ "Good afternoon, Drishti."

Okay, that sounded too non romantic. Maybe that is why they always used 'Good morning's in movies and serials.

Her eyes were closed, but she smiled.

~ "Gooood - what?"

She opened her eyes.

Before I could calm her down, she sat up in bed.

~ "What time is it? Is it already afternoon? Have I overslept?!"

~ "Drishti -"

~ "Why didn't you wake me up Rakshit?! Oh my god, we missed breakfast - what Divi and the others must be thinking -"

I grabbed her waist and pulled her towards me, she landed on my chest smoothly.

~ "What - what are you doing, Rakshit?"

I pushed a stray strand of hair behind her ear and looked into her eyes, placing my index finger on her lips.

~ "Trust me, this was the only way of stopping you panicking the hell out."

She looked back into my eyes with utter innocency. I decided to mess with her a little bit.

~ "Why? What else you thought that I was doing, Drishti?"
