Next morning the girls left without waiting for the boys to wake up; the plan was for them to rendezvous with Aryanna at the Pearce household, then they would eat something light there while they waited for Madam Gaum to arrive with their respective dresses, afterwards, they would dedicate the whole day to prepping fully for the ball and, according to Arya, that meant hair styling, accentuating their features, finishing touches to their gowns and actually revising some etiquette.
-Good morning girls.- Arya greeted when she noticed them.- Come on in, everyone has already been made aware of your presences here.-
-Arya.- they replied in unison, bowing their heads slightly to her.-
Aryanna frowned at the sight but quickly understood that they were trying to show respect because they were in public and there were some bystanders, so placing a tight smile she quickly motioned to the girls to enter the residence and as soon as they were out of public sight she turned around and faced them.
-I hope that you only did that because of the bystanders.- she warned, a smile creeping on her face when she noticed Reyla's and Kiara's amused stares.- Let us eat then.-
They ate in comfortable silence, occasionally breaking it to praise the cooks or further discuss the itinerary of what they had planned for the day, that was until Madam Gaum entered the hall and interrupted them.
-Time is gold girls.- she screeched the instance she placed a foot inside of the hall.- Come on!-
The trio shared a look and after nodding they quickly exited the room, following an inpatient version of Madam Gaum, but instead of going to the fitting hall they had gone to the day before, she led them outside of a residence to her own studio in town.
The girls were not even capable of quickly greeting the boys who watched them with confusion as they noticed them quickly strolling behind a woman who was obviously anxious, so the only thing the male Alphas were able to do was to provide them with reassuring smiles in hopes that they would survive whatever they were going through.
Until Jasper scolded them and dragged them somewhere that they could not pinpoint while they strolled, so resigning themselves they just focused on not losing the slim woman in the crowd. After some minutes that seemed eternal to Reyla, they finally entered a building and inside of it, just in front of the door, were a group of nine women, all waiting for them.
Obviously confused, the almost brunette and the eldest blonde turned to look at Arya, but she herself wore a dumbfounded look as if she too was trying to figure out what was going on.
-This is what we are going to do, three of you will take a girl and provide her with a deep scrub.- started saying Madam Gaum.- other three will take another and provide her with a lecture of etiquette while the first is done, and the remaining three of you will grab the last one and take her to the fitting room to get her last touches.-
"When all three of them are done with those three tasks, we will all gather on the prepping hall, then we will start with the hideous procedure of making them look presentable."
Not even a second after she finished her last sentence, all three of them were dragged to different parts of the complex, one of them dreading the day she decided to volunteer for the Alphas, the other trying to ignore the disgusted looks that the women hid behind false smiles and the remaining one praying that the first two would not kill anyone.
Kiara calculated that they had spent a total of an hour at least, just with those first tasks but she could not help to release a yelp when she felt one of the assistants pulling her hair with the vague excuse of doing a braided updo with her hair.
